I dont know about you but when I use flamecone on the target my pets attack ALL hit attack me. Even the ones I miss. It also takes about 238 skill points to be able to use that combo.

I'm telling you that as soon as I walk up to the NPC base and throw the poison, the whole base aggro's me. Unless it doesn't stick, then they don't.

AT-ST may be differen't.

I will flame anyone who cries nerf. It is ridiculous.

I posted this saying on a old post:

"There are 2 ways to have the tallest building:

"Build the tallest building"

"Tear down any building bigger than yours"

"Don't wish it were easier, wish that you were better"

Its not worth arguing with you all. I try to bring up a point and i either get flames saying im trying to nerf your class or else you all respond by saying well this class can do that so why can't we do this?

It boiled down to 1 simple statement and you all made it into a huge argument. It is a bug to be able to kill any faction npc whenever you want without him/it being able to attack you once. I never said it was easy to kill or that it didnt take a long time. All i said was its bugged. If you want to be able to walk into a imperial base and start poisoning imperials 1 by 1 and wait there for 2 hours killing them all go ahead.

It will be fixed soon enough and wont be an issue.

WHOA! WHOA! WHOA! WHOA!

*Raises my right arm and puts my hand in front of your face*

Balanced.

There is that word again. Balanced. That word should be banned in this game. Your talking about balance yet your an imp. You can have a lvl 125 pet and not even need a profession to use it. To make it even worse. You can have 3 of them and solo anything in the game at whim. Yet you come to the combat medic forums talking about balance. BAH! Aint that funny?

Ok Lets get to your post now. Your right we dont have a heavy weapon to use in PVE or even an LLC in PVP.

But what you do when you use your flame thrower on an atst is a directly hostile movement

While ours is as invisible as air.

Actually i used my points to get revive players something a combat medic is more suited for than a doctor. What kind of MD runs out on a battle field reviving people in a fight? That should get changed so it is a shared skill instead of just that one profession.

You said

Also why do people go by skill points to try to justify power? Lets say im a master weaponsmith/Armorsmith/Architecht. I should be able to kill all of you because I've used more skill points. Your class is a combat Medic. A medic with combat skills to make him dangerous in the battlefield. With diseases and poisons it fits the bill.

Well Number 1. That person can craft all the weapons, armor and structures in the entire game. They actually are not a combative character. They are a SUPPORT Class. First and foremost that is all they are.

They create the stuff players use. They have 0 combative ability. Next time come up with a better example.

Comparing A Master Combat Medic to a Master weaponsmith is a bad comparison.

There you go again thinking Combat medic is a support profession. Why do you think that? Cause we can heal? That is 1/3rd of our classes abilities the other 2/3rd are poisons and diseases.

A support class is medics, Entertainers, Crafters, and Doctors. Combat medic is not a support class and the only reason you clarify us as such is because you have never been a combat medic. Your simply misinformed

CH is not a support profession. To make us believe that is a stupid idea. CH's can take out some really uber mobs and player characters rather easily because they do not have low hit points. It is one of the most over powered but you dont see my crying nerf. Because i aint like that. I would just disease and poison your pets and make you spend lots of money to someone who plays a medic to restore them. Helping them level up.

I actually agree that CM should have a way to revive on battlefields. It also makes more sense to have some of the status heals on combat medic rather then doctor. I'm just curious how you define yourself as 2/3 poison/disease when 1 out of your 4 trees is devoted to diseases and another tree is devoted to crafting those diseases and 2 trees are devoted to healing bonuses.

It seems like your mostly healer with all your pre-req skills from medic with some crafter and poison/disease thrown in.

Out of curiousity would you be against a method that enables you to use diseases to stop TEF rushin while not having to disease a corpse or have the disease affect a clone?

Ok back from doing something and back to responding.

Ok being that you have never played a combat medic. There are4 skill trees in Every class and even in this one

1) Distance

2) Speed

3) Crafting

4) Support

Distance covers the effectiveness of your poisons/diseases think of it as your accuracy to hit someone. It also covers how far you can throw your ranged/area/poisons and diseases.

So that one thing right there is usefull in your choice of what you do as a combat medic

Speed the second skill tree. Covers how fast you can toss a healing agent or a disease/poison item.

Crafting Nuff Said. This is actually the most boring part of the game

The last one is something called support. It covers Your medical use. But has nothing to do with your speed or terrian negotiation.

So where do you see that only a part of my class is about poisons or diseases? When they all get tied in together.

I mean you can see that the Combat Medic class is all about poison and diseases by just clicking that Master Box. Here is where you get the best of the best stuff. The last bit of healing your able to get is in Lvl 4 of crafting.

BUT, Since you dont like people using poison C or disease C on you. They should just go out right and nerf our class. When you have no idea what your talking about.

And Since we are the third most expensive class. That deals with combat. Why cant we have a few tricks up our sleeves? Why cant we just poison NPCs and walk away? It happens in real life and it can happen on here. First of all Our class is primarily PVP But you want to take that ability away. Now you want to make it so we get attacked by atst. But here is my question for you. Why?

Do you get attacked by a rebel equilivent ATST when you go fighting? No you dont. So Do Rebel Commandoes have to face ATSTs when they do missions? The answer is yes.So where is the problem. This is NPC Spawns. They die and they come back.

We do not get any experience/faction points dropping it with poison. So there is no advange for us. Other than the sheer joy of dropping those chicken walkers. But you see that it is a problem when it does not hurt you in the least.

So my advice to you is this. Stop responding and let it go before i take off my gloves and start going into what needs to be nerfed. And we will start out with Creature Handlers and the use of pets in a star wars game.

I didnt see any CHs in the movies. It would have been funny when the empire went to attack the ewoks they all pulled out uber rancors and other vicious pets and destroyed that little base. Thus defeating the empire and no shield generator would have ever been built.

And to sum it up. Your not a combat medic. You dont know the requirements of my class to even talk about nerf untill you have spent your time and money in creating a character and making him a combat medic. Your a commando and a creature handler. Those two classes right there explain the word nerf. The only thing you want to do is punish a person for diseasing or poisoning you. When that is my class's only weapons. We dont have rocket launchers, acid cannons, Particle beam weapons or pets. So untill they give us something else to usefor a weapon. Then i dont want to hear you talking about a class that you dont even play.

Got it?

Does that make it simple enough for even you to understand?

back from work, went and checked again on swarming dewbacks and mountain squills so both agro reds. I sent in pet waited till all attacking him. Got in range of special did aoe cone flamed them all and none agroed.

While i personally think it makes sense for the application of poison to cause agro, but then so should my aoe flame cone.

I have no problem with CM dots killing atst's, Ill buy the argument that the poison or disease the crew after all my flame dot roasts the crew slowly i guess, We overwhelm there cooling system and the CM overwhelms the airpurification system.

well i can confirm that covert cm's can kill all imperial npc's without getting tef's. It may be some kind of bug they are using but I watched 2 of them kill off20 plus imperial npc's at a faction base 4 days ago.

Only way they were taken out was by getting three covert detectors and popping them down and killing them. If we hadn't come back by when we did, they would have wiped out every npc we had up.

I didn't read this whole post... most of it cause me to *yawn*....

anyway I can say that I AM A COMBAT MEDIC.....master one at that. I does seem absured that one can poison a machine. If you say different then you should ask the devs to let us poison FP lairs as well. They are mechanical. If anything we should be able to poison a warren or a dead log...those are orgainic arn't the?..why stop there...I'll drop a poison on your harvester and eat up all the maintance that you just put in it.

AT-ST's are mechanical....end of story. You guys wanted to say that there is pilots in side but I will point out that the AT-ST Pilots helmet (that you can find in game) has a resperator on it... There goes the "they breath the poison" sanerio....

Going to poke my nose in here again. I have a question for the aggro Issue:

If you do not know that you are poisoned .... how do you aggro?

Anyone ever heard of a product called " RAT POISON"? and or Cyanide??

Now in a game that has interplanetary travel ... or something like a ... ummm lets say...ummm...AT ST.

You can guarantee the poisons and Disease's WILL be Ubber. Casper is right .. Watch the dam movie. If

the AT ST was so locked up ,,, How did Chewy pop the top like a can of guinness and whack the impies inside?
