Actually, yes. If he wanted to give the "Horray" feedback, there is a perfectly good thread in the In Live forum specifically for feedback on release 9.3. Bringing it here smacks of trolling, though I will admit that this posteris a very polite troll and generally welcome him in any future discussions about combat medic balance.

Different people have different perspectives (assuming he wasn't being sarcastic, which he may well have been). This guy probably got sick of being constantly zerged and DoTed and is happy this have changed. I think they've gone too far, myself - adding both the area cures and the innoculations seems to provide too much defense against CMs. Maybe the subsequent tweak will make things a little better, I dunno.


Given how much actual trolling is going on, jumping on a guy for offering an on-topic opinion just because most people here disagree is unjustified.

I've seen SYN obliterated countless times by CMs. I've been with you guys in more than enough battles to experience it.....








who the hell are you ............first off yeah because no one would take the time to pick up 4030 doc ....now in our group cms are nothing at all ......I do not think a CM has been our down fall since we changed tactics



CM all they have are their poisons and they shoudl be a powerful pvp class because of the skills that are required to gain it. How can anyone say it is balanced now when CM which takes a huge amount of skill points is negated by doc. Doc does nto take nearly as many skill points as CM yet they can sell buffs, they can cure any state in the game, they have area cures, and they have reistance buffs. CM was a tad bit over powered but still negateable. If they would have just amde it so poisons do not stack and poison and disease do not incap...then it would have been balanced....but no CM now has nothing for the huge skill sink it is

Maybe you should practice what you preach... cm is not real pvp. It was an avenue for people who don't know how to pvp. Sucks to be the guy that thought he was the all mighty for being the most tactless prof to have it taken away with the release of a patch. Oh well... back to your stacker templates.



haha what a moron ........i am a dabbler in CM just for the mind heal and single poisons that tick for 150 at most. I can see you know nothing about pvp but i am bored so i am going to waste my time and post a reply to you. If you get killed by a CM you should not be pvping at all. CM was completely negatable with just 4030 doc..which leaves room for almost masteryin any combat proffession and then some. With 4030 doc you can cure any state on yourself and another person making defenses against stun and blind unneeded, but tards like you who say they know about pvp yet won't take the time to build a template that can negate simple poisons come on these forums to troll and whine like little 4th grade punks getting proffessions nerfed instead of fixed. YAY for your ignorance...

In my opinion CM's needed some balancing without a doubt..But even I will admit they over did it the way it is now. I hope that some of you stick with CM if you really love it and the Devs will even it out for you. We really need to do something about just targeting the mind pool. Ill admit this and im a rifleman! I dont know what they are planning to do to fix that problem though. If they put in the ability to heal your mind I dont see how anyone will ever be killed.

I won't call you names but don't get too hung up on titles. You play the way you decide to play.


When you hear the word "Swordsman" do you think of a guy running around with a big hammer?


When you hear the word "Fencer" do you think of a guy running around with a billy club?


When you hear the word "Jedi" do you think of a guy running away from a fight because they might get beat?


If you do and need the title to match the prof, think of it this way. One titlein the CM trees is Chemical Warfare Expert. Master Combat Medic is one step higher then a Chemical Warfare Expert.


The main focus for a player is to play the way they see fit. Since a Combat Medic has to forfeit the most points to master their prof, they do not need to be just a healer. Get a medic if you want a healer that can't cure. A CM can do a better job the a medic but they can also add a huge offensive advantage to a fight.....well not with the way these area cures are but anyway....

The main focus of this profession should be field support for combatants. Fighters should rely on CMs but not to weaken the enemy but to instead keep the fighters alive.

What I'm getting from 9.4 is that they are making poisons stronger and innocs are not going to be as powerful...so....0+1-1=0...what the hell was the point of this patch? They give docs area cures and innocs...then reduce their effectiveness and increase the effectiveness of poisons? Doesn't that seem kinda unnecessary? Just seems like they took all this time to give docs mediocre cures...I dunno just seems that way.. I could be wrong.

9.4 will fix it . 9.3 nurfed cm to uselessness when one doc can counter6 cm s, that just isnt right. Name one other pvp profession that can do that?

I do agree that cm was way too powerfull, however with 9.3 a master 12 point Cm dosnt sell anything and is ineffective in pvp,GREAT use of 169 skill point dont you think.
