So your saying you prefer that healers can just keep healing / rez'ing people non stop so a battle/war never ends? If this is the case PvP'ing is going into the crapper fast.... If someone takes me out, then fine I have to clone, its the way it suppose to be. Give the person there victory, as it is now i kill someone, and 2 seconds later he's standing up again.. Tell me where the fun is in this?
Might as well just give everyone god mode and be done with it...
One solution instead of chaing the cool down timer on rez' is reduce the time someone can get a rez from 30 mins down to 5 mins...

Pick up enough of the Jedi Healer profession, and you can heal states. Assuming that saber icon is just for show, you can always get the states line of Doctor (x4xx I think). You did know that, right?

The problem with your argument is that there are enough counters to CM Offensive Medicine if you spend the points. Of course, you have to sacrifice some of your offensive abilities. No one player should be the end all be all template, Jedi or otherwise. If Jedi are being easily beaten by CMs, then you can't assume that those Jedi are all highly skilled PVPers. You also have to take into account the fact that your own skills may be lacking. Not all Jedi complain about us CMs. But I'm certain most Jedi would happily see us get nerfed.

I hit Padawan a couple months ago, and over the past week or so I've been developing my unlocked alt as a BH/CM. First impression is that my guys are comparable in their effectiveness at the level of their development (my paddie is still only midlevel in his skills, good enough to put up a pretense of a good fight, but not quite good enough to beat a good BH consistently yet), while my CM has turned into a superb healer and root/snare artist, but is having the dickens of a time getting his poisons and debuffs to stick (CM 4-0-0-3 so far, hence the problem).
My first impression with these up-and-coming toons is that the professionsare probably fairly well balanced. On the healing issue, Jedi have the edge in the innate amount of healing (1500 points) they can muster, while CM's can approach that with foods and a bacta enhancer. CM heals take more Mind, and that's their weakness. A Mind-dead CM is a dead CM.
On the other hand, a CM has Paralyze, which they can use to gain a precious breathing space. Jedi can gain Stasis, which can do the same thing for them. But all these Force toys have a cost, and Force regenerates far more slowly than Mind.

Im carb cm bh, I guess thats one of the templates most jedi start to hate more and more since we can be so damn effective for this purpose. Our rupture is just a counter to force speed, if the jedi is also speedbuffed it doesnt really make alot of a difference. electrolyte drain is a fine snare but when youre using forcerun it usually bugs and you can run way faster than you would expect it. the mind and action cripplers are worth it, yep. but they also take over 10% of mind to apply.
the same goes for heals, they nearly all go around 10% mind costs for a single use. if youre opening the fight with a standard round of paralyze, rupture, electrolyte and traumatize then you lost around 40% mind in around 15 seconds. And in the next few minutes you will have to dry out the jedi so much that his mind will wear down so he looses since he cant heal anymore. A jedi on the other hand only uses 5-6% mind for a heal in most cases, so you can only win if youre putting more damage on him than he does on yourself because if he does somewhere near the same amount of damage that you do then you cannot compete with him when your mindbar starts at only 60% of his and your heals cost nearly double than the jedi ones cost.
and for all those neat skills yousacrificeskillpoints ofa full proffession which would add ALOT of firepower to your template, this should also be kept in mind when crying on cms.
A jedi got force sap, which does nearly the same in ONE special with nearly NO MIND costs which a cm does in TWO uses which cost him 20% mind together. Good, the cm skills last longer but if you cant cope with cm just take force sap and else shut it, if you cannot take mls then, fine, one less fotm dude running around!
