Yeah, its obvious none of you people pvp on a regular basis. If you did there would be no way you could defend combat medics as not being overpowered. The best part is that we won't have to cry about nerfs much longer, it seems like everyone is becoming a combat medic and sooner or later the devs will pick up on this and nerf cm just like they did creature handlers. Muhaha. Live it up cms, your days are numbered.

Done and done. No response is best. Let em whine. Give them 1 star and move on.... nothing to see here...

Don't let him get to you. He/She is just trying to get a rise out of you. He knows nothing more about any nerfing than anyone else.

So simply stating the truth is flaming? Why are u guys so nervous about people asking for your profession to be nerfed? If your right and there is no problem and your not overpowered, then you have nothing to worry about, right? Its coming fellas, I for one can't wait.

Hey Folks,

Just wanted to say that I too am rather tired of the nerf cries here in our forum, so I simply ask that you ignore them. This forum was, and is, meant to be a place for CMs to interact and discuss issues with each other, trade ideas, trade templates, boast about their newest crafting related success, complain about the lack of resources, etc.

What it's become is nothing more then a free-for-all of nerf cries.

I, myself, have succumbed to the lure of these threads. But no more.

I ask that you simply ignore those who came here to troll and cry nerf(and we all know who they are). Take the battle to the GCWForum, I'll gladly jump in there.

But not here.

This is our little slice of the forums, let's try and keep it clean by ignoring the nerf criers. Eventually they'll get tired or banned, either way...well, at least we'll be rid of them

I cant say that i agree with this policy.

If the only people posting about poisons and diseases are people who are calling for nerfs or whining about them then that is going to give a skewed perception to the people who read the boards on an infrequent basis. I would rather see posts of people arguing and debating the problem. At least then i wouldnt assume that the cm's agree. And if i were going to investigate the problem i wouldnt do a search across the whole boards, i would go the the combat medic section since that is where the arguments are most likely to occur and be represented by both sides.

Furthermore a reduction in the power of AOE poisons is most likely to occur. Whether or not most combat medics admit or realize it, their affect in large scale battles is overwhelming. Far more then any other class. If the developers ever decide to look at the forums for ideas i would like to have some present that wernt totally devestating to the class, which is what would happen if only the people crying for nerfs had posts listed.

More to the point, better ideas evolve through debate. I like reading what other combat medics have to say and more of them post in the combat medic forums then in the GCW.If you dont like it then by all means stop. But I think that asking others to stop because you dont like it is rather rude.

Snaglegromp, there is a difference between a coherent discussion and 'omg, j00 guyz suxx0rz!!one!!!11! j00 all neeed b nerfededed! j00 killt my ub3r combat template!'.

The former is welcome and part of what this board is for. The latter is meaningless dribble from the mouths of idiots that doesn't need to be tolerated.

Granted. But a distinction between the two wasnt conveyed by the orginal post. It percieved it to be a blanket ignore request upon the entire subject.

I'll add the distinction so as to avoid this misunderstanding in the future.

well i agree with vort.

Like 1 outa every 4 threads is a cry for nerf. i think us CM's get your point that your just jelous because your uber defense stacked template doesnt take effect on our poisons

This board has some of the most whineyist (is that a word?) People that ive ever seen. Honestly instead of taking a few minutes to come to the board and cry nerf, figure a way around the cm poison. Ive done it and i can last 2 minutes with fast ticking 550+ per ticks poison (mind poison). Its very simple, all you have to do is use that thing in your head called your brain.

And honestly if you cant figure it out, your well.. no offense an idiot that should need to re-take your math.

I will try, but if every post is filled with people crying wolf... it skews the opinion of the general populace. I feel we need to answer idiotic ideas at ever turn, if for no other reason than to let people know the other side of the story.

And no, a nerf isn't coming. Do a search for Devs response to DOT. It definitively states that they are happy with our current damage. I disagree with that statement in regards to PvE, but I'll accept it if for no other reason than I'm afraid of the bugs that would be inherent in any coding change they might attempt to fix it.

If poisons did the damage they were supposed to do in PvE, the damage you see in PvP WOULD be 75% reduction. And the statement that there is nothing that can be done to counter this is false, the developers just introduced a whole line of food to counter CM. I can't help it if you just gulp BOH and Brandy until you are full, just shows how narrowminded you are (as if the constant nerf whines weren't enough).
