Thread: On Nerfs and Nerf Crys

Hey Folks,

Just wanted to say that I too am rather tired of the nerf cries here in our forum, so I simply ask that you ignore them. This forum was, and is, meant to be a place for CMs to interact and discuss issues with each other, trade ideas, trade templates, boast about their newest crafting related success, complain about the lack of resources, etc.

What it's become is nothing more then a free-for-all of nerf cries.

I, myself, have succumbed to the lure of these threads. But no more.

I ask that you simply ignore those who came here to troll and cry nerf(and we all know who they are). Take the battle to the GCWForum, I'll gladly jump in there.

But not here.

This is our little slice of the forums, let's try and keep it clean by ignoring the nerf criers. Eventually they'll get tired or banned, either way...well, at least we'll be rid of them

Note: This is only meant towards those who simply come here to troll and cry for nerfs. Discussions are more then welcome, and wanted actually, but anyone who simply cries 'nerf' for no reason other then to troll is who this post is targeted toward.

Gee, maybe people come in here and complain because there is a legitimate problem? Why is it that every loser who sucks in pvp eventually becomes a combat medic? Combat medic draws the inept like files to honey because its so overpowered . /applyposion; /burstrun. is the most dominate pvp macro in the game. Anyone else see a problem with that?

You guys need changes? Isn't wiping out 10 people at once enough for you?

It doesn't matter what profession is dominant anyways. If tomorrow there was a patch saying that Master Tailors now get the special ability to wrap 20 people in fabric that causes bleeding, the next day someone would be crying on that forum about how overpowered that profession is. Bottom line, CM's are powerful but also one of the weakest defensively. It is so easy to drop a CM if can get close to them and you have the right skills. I am not going to say what skills because if you don't know, you should have to figure it out on your own. It has become commonplace now to scream nerf or exploit everytime you get dropped by someone else in PvP. On Ahazi where there were a fair number of exploiters, it has ruined the entire server because no matter what PvP took place, someone was always there to scream exploit.

Sorry for the double post.

Anyways,

It is always going to be possible for someone to cheat and exploit and someone will always be tougher than you, these are just facts that have always been. Get over it, learn some tactical ability, use Ventrillo or Teamspeak to coordinate, and learn to get around this stuff.

Will do. And you should probably lock this post before we get more people crying for nerfs in a post about not answering cries for nerfs.

Unfortunatly until the CM's ability to single handedly end any battle is removed (75% PvP damage cap) they the trolling & nerf callswill continue. If you don't like the trolling and cries for nerfs why not spend some time to come up with a viable way to make them less overpowered in PvP.
