Tag-along character would be a new character made on your server for the sole purpose of following you and your group around as an observer. Get the information needed without having to take over someone elses character.

As for being objective and being on the receiving end... I was a CM at the beginning of the game, I gave it up and only recently relearned the profession. In the time between, I played several other professions and was on the receiving end a few times. I've also done the observer thing before, following a PvPer and his group around to see the impact CMs have on PvP.

I DO know what PvP is like, I do know the issues involved and the problems inherent in the system. Does that mean I agree with those who would cry nerf? No. It means that I have the full view of this(and all medical professions, really) that most people either choose to ignore or simply don't see.

Well ok then I tried. Watching the affect is never going to be as good as experiencing it though. I wonder if you came back to it after the changes in rifle and Fencer.... Its cool though.

You can offer me your account info. I'll do you a favor and re-template you so you'll be worth something in PvP. You don't have to thank me, I only require your worship.

So... we should all be forced to stick to one class, just to compete in pvp? You are a retard. This is coming from a doc/cm by the way.

Adapt or die.

I've been a CM since early August. I've seen and heard more than you've been existing. If you're not a doctor then you are a liability. Go ahead and prove me wrong on that statement when you're involved with PvP. Come to bloodfin to PvP without Doctor in your template is an invitation for flame.

Now with that said, you are a retard to think not to have Doctor in their template. YES, we're forced to stick to have the ability to cure poison/disease and states if we want to PvP effectively. Why do you think all the Jedi have some type of healing tree in their template? So, before you flame me, know what you're talking about,n00b.

Maybe I didnt make myself clear, YES I agree that doctor is a necessity for pvp, but is that the way it should be? No. There should not be one profession that decimates every other, with the exception of doc templates. Oh, you did exist before me too, ive been here since september..my account got banned and I had to start again,so dont think i'vejust started pvping, or im in some scrub guild, we dominate eclipse.

I think you're mistaken the doc as the one profession that decimates every other. It's Rifleman that does it. Give a Master Rifleman 4/4/4/0 doctor and Novice Brawler, a 500 powered up double sliced Jawa Ion Rifle and see how fast he can rip apart a Master CM / [insert whatever other profession].

If you PvP, you know my statement holds true. A squad of Rifleman/Doctor can decimate anything in their path, except for a group of Jedi.

Anyway, it's pointless to argue over this. I'm right, you're wrong. End of discussion.

Appreciate the offer Morath, but don't think it would be appropriate.

And what exactly is it you'd like tested? We could always simply create a character on your server and tag-along, which would be easier in the long run.

Maybe I'm not understanding what you mean. Honestly, I have not messed with the TC. What is a tag-along character? The point I was attempting to make was if you formed up with a group and had all the meditate and novice medic skills and all the so called elite combat stacking skills with skill tapes and also a very powerful rifle that shoots at the speed cap and what not and you went out with any group of your choosing and could see for yourself the prep involved and if you looked at my inventory and saw all the diligence I have put into this character and then you went out and saw for yourself what it is like to be on the receiving end, I wonder if this would cause you to look harder or at least give you better insight into this profession.

Psst hey Morath360...I got a little secret for you. WE ARE ON THE RECIEVING END ALL OF THE TIME. Whenever there is a large group action there are going to be Combat Medics. And since Combat Medics have no curing properties whatsoever we are also suceptible to that same type of poison. For those that cant craft advanced C's due to lack of resources the poisons they bought are probably from the same schematic that the opposing side "Combat Medic who couldn't make advanced C's due to lack of resources" is throwing at you. If we go up against a dabbler who does have any curing abilities and MIND poisoning abilities then we die to the same effect. Your argument is moot. Combat Medics dont survive other Combat Medics.

I hate jedi right now so I'm working up a melee/BH just to kill them. BH is too damn easy now that the survival, hunting, and trapping trees were removed.

*Sigh. Lots if ignorant people here. Notice I said ignorant and not stupid. We got a droid engineer telling us all about PVP and the combat medic. We have someone that actually thinks a 300 jawa ap1 rifle can out damage a 700 damage ap3 T21 and the funniest thing is that we have Melee BH thinking he can actually kill a decent Jedi...BTW, if you know what it is like to be on the receiving end then you know how quickly the whole pvp experience falls apart. It is just that you are prejudiced to the CM. Then again everyone else just could be wrong. Somehow I dont think so.

I guess you could set up scenarios that would support your claims, but any decent pvper is going to have stun protection and sheilds and good composite.

Oh almost forgot. Screaming like achild throwing a temper tantrum doesn't really help your cause..

Good stuff guys.

Let me give you a scenario for each of those you described.

1. I'm wearing a 95% resist composite suit with no stun protection. You don't think that 300 Jawa with AP1 is going to out damage 700 AP3 T21? Albeit that they 95% composite is not very common or perhaps boardering rare, I know several people have many, many suits.

2. 3/0/0/0 BH with Master LS and Novice defender = dead Jedi not paying attention.. Yes, that's a "Melee" bounty hunter.

Like I said, "I suppose you could come up with a scenario to support your claims". Realistically, no one worth their salt is going to pvp in with 95% composite (if they can find it) with no stun protection and no shield. Your average to very good player will have that covered.
