It Is true that theyre mind ticks arent neccasarily overpowered....If they can do 500 damage every 7 seconds that cost them alot of money.....let them have it. Unlike most proffesions, every time they use their weapon, it costs them money...

how about if we all wear our "Chemical Warfare Expert" titles we each earn. Would that make you feel better?


and no, i was not wrong about the CM DoTs vs. the Rifleman DoTs.we were discussing DPS = DAMAGE PER SECOND, meaning the amount of damage dealt by the class PER SECOND. i don't think i can make it any more clear than that, though i was going to try


Put on your BEST composite armor, and have a Master Combat Medic chuck his/her best Mind Poison at you and then his/her best Mind Disease at you. now just stand still and count the seconds it takes to Incap.


Next, LEAVE your armor on, and have a Master Rifleman blast your Mindpool with his/her best Jawa Ion Rifle and count the seconds it takes to Incap. and oh yes, you can even have the Rifleman DB you with Snipershot from a distance, and it will STILL happen faster.


DAMAGE PER SEOND - Master Rifleman > Master Combat Medic


this is why my alt is working at mastering BOTH professions. now THAT is going to be an Overpowered Template i will not sit here and say that a Master Rifleman / Master Combat Medic is just fine compaired to all other templates, because it is not. it will win more often than lose, though i KNOW that a Master TKA / Master Rifleam will also win quite often.

For all you number cruchers out there, poison tics evey 10 seconds, not 6 or 8.

i stand corrected!


1 Master Rifleman special every 1 second > 1 Master Combat Medic tick every 10 secons.

StrafeShot2 once per second for 10 seconds will hit 20 people no problem.

you combat medics really need to think about this. Able to DoT 10 times more peopel at once than any other profession, able to stack multiple DoT's in multiple pools, no PvP reduction, no damage mitigation reductions, no resitance reductions..... HELLOOOOOO

The rifleman can't wipe out an entire 20+ PVP group attacking a base with one pull of his trigger.......your profession is total BS.........yeah rifleman is overpowered 1v1 but your profession is overpowered 20v1.......

I was at kor vella right after the crackdown launched and I checked my combat log after throwing a poison - I dotted 237 STs in one toss.

I'm assuming you're talking about the exploit 64+m poisons (yes, I had a chat with a CSR and they are EXPLOITS)... so outside of exploiting we can't DOT 100 stormtroopers with impunity like you're saying

Simply put you've just ammased a bunch of bugs and declared us overpowered, good job moron. Bug 1) the 100 stormtroopers shouldn't be there in the first place, bug 2) the range exploit, catch someone throwing poisons from 64+m and file a ticket... looking at our normal range and power and we are not overpowered at all, if you think we're overpowered in PvE maybe you should try leveling up your novice brawler to an elite class and reaslize we do the worst dps in PvE.

Big deal, we still do the worst dps out of any combat class (besides pikemen I believe)...oh no, you can't slap on a 1500 point bleed anymore, oh noz, I guess you have to use your other 25 specials that do more damage then the bleed anyways.

Actually our correspondant recently posted that poison ticks every 10 seconds....so no, you're wrong, and so was I. And when was the last **edit**ing time you saw a combat medic throw 9 poisons and "get away with it", that NEVER happens...but by the way, if you throw an area C, B and A all of that can be cured by a doc in 1 D cure stim....sure it's not AOE but it completely cancels out any damage for one person...

Big deal, able to DOT 10x more people, whoop dee do, I saw a riflemen one hit kill 5 people at once the other day...and there's nothing wrong with THAT? Also, carbineer's action shot 2 is AOE. Able to stack DOTs in multiple pools yes, likely to happen in large scale PvP raids? No.No PvP reduction because we'd have an average dps of20 or less (anyone with buffs would regen that faster, ya, that's extremely fair) , no damage mitigation reduction?Oh noz, I guess you'll just have to one hit kill that combat medic who doesn't get mitigation themselves (that cancels itself out imo, cut through deffence and have ZEROdeffence for yourself)....And get some chef food for resistances.






Just one more thing, name ONE class that can't move while attacking, and I mean can't move AT ALL.


I find it hillarious that everyone wants to nerf a class that is completely imobile for 4-5 seconds while attacking...that's a serious disadvantage, with the exception of the exploit poisons we are in constant danger when we attack someone in PvP, those 5 seconds leave us wide open for even melee'ers to catch us....I'd love to see any other class be completely imobile while attacking instead of burst running everywhere hitting their "pwn" button every second.
