Thread: Help Save Riverbend, Naboo!
Thanks. I forgot how sensitive you guys can be sometimes.
I was more or less bumping the thread and asking in the most gentle manner.

I just got my first taste of this.
Not only will they not stack side by side, but they can't be placed back to back!!
A citizen tried to place a medium in a spot that looked big enough behind a line of mediums pre-"fix". It wouldn't fit even though there was a space between the mediums there.
We then tried a Naboo large. Didn't fit. If it had that woulda =really= ticked me off.
Settled on a small square Naboo and the large will go outta town somewhere scenic as a retreat.
Adapt and improvise... but it just doesn't look right.
For the sake of all the vets who worked so hard on their cities, revert this unnecessary and ultimately useless 'fix'

Imagine how much time it took me to get us there, please don't destroy 2 years of planning and development.
I have to agree this is a major problem for all established Naboo Citys Not just Riverbend.
Our city was founded on day 1 at 3pm of Player Cites has over 130 citizens and hundreds of structures it is a completely planed city.
Its located on Naboo just outside of Moenia on Tarquinas sever. The city has all Naboo style houses and buildings. I have been the Mayor from the start. I spent many hours Laying out VADR city with streets, avenues, and even a Grand way complete with fountains and parks leading from the shuttle port to city hall . Every house location was planed and lined up. I placed all the houses myself to assure proper placement and esthetic appeal.
I also took into account future expansion, by laying out additional neighborhoods and roads.
Well imagine my surprise when all my hard work gets thrown out the window because of some exploiting PVP punks.
I went to relocate a guild mates home to a just opened position closer to the shuttle. His was a Med Naboo as was the house that was removed. I go to place and all i get is red. I thought i was just bugged (daily fact of life in this game) so I relog and still all read. I then start looking and see what has happened the footprint has increased alot. This is a disaster I am unable to place houses in open spots were just a short time ago they fit. And btw none of our meds are placed with no spaces between them. I left 1 block between each med so as not to have a wall look it, but the new foot print is not even centered, what were they smoking when they thought this up?????.
This change will destroy the entire layout of my city. Needless to say all further construction is at an end until this get resolved.
DEVS get off you butts and BAN THE EXPLOITERS don't punish the rest of us because of them.

Yep I was agreeing with you and defending your post against the retards that think it only is one player/citys problem.
It effects any established naboo city, and not the ones that utilize row homes.
My city does not use the row building style. I placed every Medium Naboo house with a space all the way around it, so they match the spacing of small square Naboo's looks wise. The footprint for Naboo Mediums is so off now that I can no longed place any homes in established neighborhoods, nothing fits not even smalls.
What this does is force gaping holes in the city layout.
i do hate it for yall that have been inconvienced by this change, but a simple question. when have the devs EVER dealt with the exploiters of ANYTHING directly and banned them instead of screwing 99.99% of the regular players over bymaking some fubared change. *COUGH* /citywarn*COUGH*, *COUGH*Actor Droids*COUGH* best of luck fixing the house back to what it was but i just dont see them changing things, remember TH is PARANOID thatone little person may be inconvienced so he'd rather screw the vast majority of us over instead.

AzareeNoise wrote:I am still tring to figure out why the footprint needed to be adjusted. If a person can travel between the homes to me it makes no sense to adjust the area a house takes up. I would actualy like to see the ability to place houses closer togather on all planets (it will never happen). The whole footprint thing was a very bad fix. I agree that using houses as barriers is not fair to players but come on.. It fixes a problem for people exploiting a situation and punishes those who were not part of the problem at all. I sympathize
This is one example of why the footprint was changed.
