Ive been buffing in a medical city with and without halva (not since 14 last night)
WITH Halva i just press F1-F6 as fast as i can and all six buffs are applied as i watch.
WITHOUT Halva if i do this onyl the first applies, so i need to wait a few seconds - 3? - between each buff.
I will still be buying Halva.

With the changes in the recovery time for Docs, is Havla now obsolete? As a Chef I just want to know if I should bother making it anymore.

There's probably going to still be an interrest in havla, but ever since the buff times were cut dramatically i haven't needed to buy havla. I've also notice that starport buffers don't have the long lines that theydid before - that might also decrease your havla sales. My recommendation is to still make it, but keep in mind you won't sell as much as you would have two months ago.

well if you are using a macro with a pause 8 in it and use havla and hit the macro, youre still doing a pause 8 between heals... i may be misunderstanding you, but it seems youre thinking using havla will make your toon automatically burst buff....?
take a havla and hit the packs on your toolbar quick as you want and watch the difference, or make an identical buff macro (copy n paste original) but then change the pause to 1 or 2 and try that out and see if there's a diff.
many thanks for this reply it was very useful. I was usig it in a macro with 3second pauses and it still didnt work i'm gona try the toolbar thing now, maybe if that works i could use /ui toolbar00 etc instead of the healstate. will post when i tried it out.

I tired Havla and it made no difference whatsover... I'll just save my moneyfor those 300K +25 Bivoli crates!!!

How much is bivoli going for on your server? I charge 100k for a crate of 25 with a mod of +25.152.

I don't find buffing in a city makes my buff time any faster without havla. If I need to buff faster, I still need havla apparently. I'm assuming alot of it has to do on the person you're buffing (i.e. combatant, special forces, on leave)

go into your options and turn on "earth time" or.. "timestamp" (forgot the actual term) .. so that everything in your chat box has a time stamp before it.
run your macro.
to find the length of pause you have to make, look at the difference between where it says "you enhance so and so's whatever buff by xxxx"
and
"you are now ready to heal again" or whatever
this is the way to determine the amount of time between buffs.
and if halva's doing anything.
i have had no luck with getting halva to work
then again it might have something to do with being in a medical center city all the time.

Someone said it earlier, but it's still useful. You probably just won't sell a great deal of it anymore (if you were already.) For me, it seems that the ability to speed buff is the inverse of my ability to heal. Therefore if this were universal (not making a claim that it is either, it's probably not) and I were a combatant doctor, then I'd have more use for it then I would as a neutral doctor, as a neutral doctor could speed buff more people then a combatant doctor would.
On another note, it does work for me on those that I can't speed buff regularly.

I know what you mean, Barbarella. I know of one vendor with great (+25/3 uses) Bivoli for certain, but I don't have the waypoint. But Aye (I_Zombi) had some for (and maybe I'm wrong about this) less than 200k. And a friend of mine (Rankh) is back from a lengthy vacation and he should be making some good stuff as well. So I don't think there's any need to spend 300k on a crate. Though don't ask me how long I shopped to find some. I must have hit 5 vendors before I found any +25 Bivoli at all (where the hell is Carg?).
As for the main topic of this thread, I would think that there's still a place for Havla. But I agree that the demand won't be what it once was. But I still use it occassionally, and I can't think I'm the only one. Anyway, good luck with that.
