No.

I have crates and singles on my vendor. The singles rarely sell and have to be put up again for sale when their time is up.

100% of my food and drink sales are in crates. I have NO DEMAND for uncrated food. My customers come and buy in bulk, especially since I can't keep up with demand, when they see those crates they snatch up as much as they can.

I sell singles, but it's mainly so folks can try something before they go buying a crate, or so a newer player can mess around with food effects. 95% of my business is crates crates crates.

Ok. Bare stats on how my vendor stocking works.

One full run ofAngerian Fishak Surprisemakes roughly 19 crates of 25. i split one of those to be two of 5, one of 10 and 5 singles. Just to show people the stack size really.

Never once has the five singles sold out before the crates.

Same as Unitarius .. I sell the single drink items to newer customers but the bulk of my business is crated .. I do list single items on the vendor but its more for roleplay purposesand new players experimenting .. And wouldn't want to run a business if it was just about keeping my head above water

I've just recently made it to master chef. I got almost all of that by grinding, single sales just weren't practical.
I've sold a handful of items thru the bazaar, but the only real money I've made is from crates.

i cannot sell individuals as well as crates, i make about 1 million every 3 days or so by selling only by crates. please do not take crates from us. Customers want the extra space for there other stuff not a ton of individual foods. they will buy less if its individual due to their inventory space available.

Clicking on the same screens over and over throughout your whole game-day, while customers complain over your shoulder about how long it's taking.... sounds more likea day job to me, not a game

Games are for entertainment, not monotony. Why should I pay $15 a month to experience what it is like to work in a sweatshop, when I could probably make that much actually working in a sweatshop?

I don't think single stacks would be viable for several reasons:

Customers usually do not have the inventory space for single stacks. Many times when I have been sold out of a crate, I mention I have single stacks and they say "that's ok i'll just wait til you have a crate ready instead".

99.9% of my business is in crates. I have 8 factories now running constantly and I still have outstanding orders. That is how much demand there is.I keep single stacks on hand for those that want to sample before they buy a whole stack, and for the casual gamers and roleplayers, but they do not get sold quickly, if at all.

Besides the need customers have for a crate, the crating/factory system also helps prevent carpal tunnel syndrome, time sinks, and boredom in the chef.

Harvester costs, resource purchase costs, and weekly 10k rent for my player cantina would also make it hard to make a living from just single stacks.

I need a way to mass-produce my product, just like every other profession does in this game. Why "single" us out?

ugh... alright, recently I have been doing just singles... I sell about 10 singles a day (how sad is that) from 3 vendors in 3 popular cities...

however, when I put my crates up on these vendors, they sell within 12 hours max... sometimes I am just leaving the city and they are gone... all gone in 12 hours, whether its a full run of 40 tat sunburns or 20 fishaks... they fly out... could I afford to run my 8 factories, keep up 3 resource storage houses, and buy all my resources (millions spent each week on resources) if I could only sell singles?

Nope... I would probably have to quit... and I haven't even been in the business that long...
