you nailed it jihadic. and they wonder why docs get a bit jaded. as far as a line goes: how else wouldone propose the process work? when buffing i provide a service that is in high demand. usually there are a LOT of people comitting you to "tell hell" at once. we do the best we can, but good god! there has to be some method of operation. no matter what though, some people will never be happy. we "evil" docs just cant please everyone. i personally do the best i can while dealing with the constant messages, complaints, critisism, and general discontent. once again i say: if you dont want to be buffed, then simply dont! lol. some people i think feel they are entitled to recieve the benefits of every profession. its not your intitlment. in fact a doc doesnt HAVE to buff anyone. no where in the "doctor rules" does it say that we have to do anything for anyone. i imagine though that these are the same people that feel their being shafted if they dont get free hides from scouts, get free weapons from weapon smiths, get free armor from armor smiths, free factories from architects. ect. ect. ect. oh and not only free but exclusive contracts with such professions. no lines, no wait. instant gratification from everyone else's hard work for nothing.

bottom line: dont like docs and their nasty ol buffs? leave them alone and live off chef buffs only. no doc will ever miss you. believe me. in fact i would imagine that if a person complains in game like ive seen on this forum, they more than likely are on most docs ignore lists anyways. lol. personally i like both professions. great benefits from both. ill never give any grief to a chef because he is too busy to put me in front of all his customers or focus all his game play on my sole satisfaction and enjoyment.

Jihadic that was very entertaining. I've seen you many times in Gorath. I admit my opinion concerning doc buffs is eccentric but standing in line for the services you provide is just not worth it to me. its not the 15k, that's a handfull of sand in a desert, but the forced dependancy. Again I'd like to see more in the way of Items that can be purchased from crafters that can provide a reasonable statpool effect enhance that everyone can use on the spot, when they need it, rather than have to "hound, harass, and annoy doctors (as so aptly described above), chase them around, and return to spam/lag polluted cities every 2 hours to refresh enhance.

Right now as chefs we dont have the ability to do this i.e.effectively and practically effect the ham bar with a balanced effect. The one item that would make the difference is garrmorl (drink) for health/str/con but is currently poorly concieved and demands ingredients that are unnatainable for mass production.

There are 3 drink and food pairings that work all 3 stat pools: garrmorl and won won for h/str/con and str/con, accaragm for act/qui/sta and qui/sta, and vas brandy and vagnerian canape for m/foc/will and foc/will. The action and mind pool items are pretty good and can be enhanced to maximum effectiveness with medium nutrition adds. However for some reasonthe health pool items drink/food combo garrmorl and won won can only be used with light nutrition adds.

At any rate the point is again that I'd like to see items included in the game that can effectively do this, whether it be made by doctors or chefs.

I have to admit, the new "Stand in a straight line for buffs" thing is a pretty lazy idea on the doctor's part. Being a doc FORCED me to come up with an efficient system of buff lines and the result of that was simply asking people if they want to be added to the buff line. If they replied yes, I wrote their name down on a list on a piece of paper. It was that easy. Standing in lines in a virtual world is an insult really. Yes, they will still have to wait for me to buff them the same as the line buffers would, but at least they aren't forced to stand in line in a virtual world. I think that's where people are becoming disgruntled. If I came to somebody who had left line or was AFK, I skipped them. If I have to be there, you had better be there. With all that said, I'm no longer a doctor. I'm actually thinking of going for doc on my second account, because quite frankly, there was NEVER a dull moment as a doc buffing in a starport.

appology accepted graccus. glad to see that all the cooks, in fact, are not all for the delivery of greased depositories to the back ends of doctors. hehe. we prefer them battered anyways. lest cholestorol that way. if you really think about it though, docs and cooks should soon become each others best friends. the 2 go hand in hand. the docs profit from buffing. the cooks profit from selling buffing buffs to docs. cooks also now will compete with entertainers (if you can find one not afk long enough to compete with). this last patch has pretty much given the mind buffing over to the cooking profession. for one im very pleased by that. i have never seen an afk chef and always find their vendors either in stock or in the process of being restocked. personally the whole reason i started a second account was to supliment my doc account with chef buffs. now i can buff better, hunt longer, and enjoy the exciting variable associated with each professions crafting. i thought i was having fun before trying to get that uber B stim. lol. now the options are mind boggling. i may never leave the freaking kitchen. dont know if this is a good thing or bad thing for my doc though. ill supply him with lots of fun new foods but wont ever have a chance to log on with him and enjoy the new treats. quite a quandry.

I made it as a customer request and one of my elite customer used it , he did +2900 on health and +3xxx on other 5 stats as a master buff with good buff pack. Also i give a crate of BE Bivoli +24.5 bonus to my hunting team buffer and clearly the buff is much better constantly. Higher skill with better buff pack, the effect is much better.

The doctor buff still by random but i believe that it helps on the average value. It is good for the doctor buffing business as well. Charge 5-10K more for the food cost if the customer want a better buff.

I sold a crate of BE Bivoli to a doc buffing in Coronet and then heard him shouting: "Buffing all stats 10k BE enhanced".

I think you're going to hear that alot more with the next revamp. Some of the docs still don't know the changes on test center. I plan to try to stock at least 100 crates before the publish 7 hits live.

So let me see if i get this straight: a good day for you is to first spend all your money on meat for a 40 crate run of bivoli tempori which you then sell to your speceal "select few" customers, who then use it and buff you....so you can go hunt genosians. seems a bit esoteric and again not relevent to the circumstances most chefs face when looking for creature food and structural to make an Item thata miniscule percent of theclient base will find usefull ina highly defined set of circumstances

Huh? My combat characterfinances areseperate from my chef character . And while you may think Docs are a "miniscule" "special" group, I happen to believe that I'm going to try to make something for everyone, not just the stuff I use . Are you actually complaining that some people find foods that mostchefs don't sell useful? I'm fairly confused. I love the fact that there are so many USEFUL recipes now that everyone wants. You seem to beconfused that I actually try to meet the demands of my customers? My chef spends all his money on HQ resources. Yes, a lot of it is meat because I have to make BE additives to go into most of my products. 40 of 600 additive crates is not that many lol. Considering there are quite a few broken foods at the moment and I refuse to produce them to sell on unsuspecting customers, there isn't much left to produce with the HQ resources I happen to have stockpiled I guess thequestion is, what do you care what I sell if I can sell it? If other chefs don't want to meet the customer demand, I'll be happy to fill it because I try to have a large variety anyway.

I too cater to a large variety of customers. Every new food that I could make I have made and it's for sale on my vendor. Things that require milk I have been adding little by little because so far milk has been sucky and it takes forever still to harvest enough. But I have about 90% of both the new foods and new drinks for sale. I have 5 factories and tons of my components already made. When I am not refilling stock, I am churning out components. On one computer I have Halle making her stuff and on the other Makayla, my master TKA, killing stuff and harvesting. Going to make her a ranger just for the uber harvesting.
