Thread: Annoucement: Chef HAM buff stacking post Pub 17.
Well I'm not really sure what to think--I made a few runs of various foods after the CU waited to see how they sold then proceededto create player specific food pacs Ie crafting , ranged etc. Conting all the best foods for that profession line.
So now I have tons of foods that combined great and worked well for my customers and now this.
As far as many of the foods being Artisan foods they still rewuire good ingredients to make good foods not to mention Bios.
I'm not overly concerned about money, but I do get concered when I have to lower my prices so drasticaly yet still have to pay 30 or 40 CPU for meat and 4-6 cpu for organics
There has to be more balance created somewhere but is this really the way to do it???
Do the Devs have unemployment insurance for us to collect while we learn a new profesion?

There is a lot of rumors going around about buff stacking after patch 17. I did one test and here is what I know.
Neutorn Pixie spice still works fine. +20% health and action regen.
Foods YES will stack on top of spice.
I stacked the following with no trouble:
Crispic+67 melee accruacy +40 ragend accuracy
Vegasparine +98 melee defense
Tetlier Noodles +179 health (on top of spice health buff) +100 action regen.
Elshandruu +98 ranged defense
All of these stacked fine with neutron too.
[Final stats +20% health +179 on top
+98 melee defense
+98 ranged defense
+67 melee accurracy
+40 ranged accuracy]
What Did NOT work is stacking any food or drink with the same buff to health. For example
Tetlier Noodles +179 health
add vagnerian canape +147 to health
EQUALS only +147 health, the last food overrides all earlier food with the same stat.
The new way to stack is to use foods that have ability modifiers like ranged defense or accuracy.

I did already mention this already i think sum1 else did too however try testing food regen alone then try testing spice alone tell me which 1 u prefer to

20%???
this means that any stats with Breath of Heaven over 400 are a waste of time. Gathering the resoures to make the high numbers was a waste of time.
Also puts Jedi a bit further out of reach in PvP.
Way to go devs.
And to think i was starting to enjoy chef again ![]()
considering that foods and drinks already had built in limitations with "filling", I don't see the need to limit consumption to a single item for a given effect.
if the overall intention of this "fix" is to correct the gobble all the spices problem, wouldn't it have made more sense to add a "brain fill" line to go with the food and drink stomach limits and just assign a filling to each of the various spices? that way, spice consumption would be limited much the same way that food and drink filling are supposed to be
Hell guys you all sound like Non Stat stacking is a good idea.
Tell that so someone who spent over 3mill on food that is utterly ussles to them.
Also its not like the extra !00 or so health/Action that i can only get now, is going to be of any use to me anyway.
As specially whn most NPC's hit in the 1000's. I think its crap.
In the old system, I could take two types of food for each stat to last for 45min. All up i would get around an extra 250 Health/action.
Hardly worth taking the food anyway, now its efectively halved, unless i take a completely full backpack, of little 30sec buff foods & brak my concentration every 330 sec in combat to take them.
Sorry guys, but i am not going to be buying any more food of any type in theis game, I'm better off with out them!
