Thread: Improving Cantinas
I always thought that the ambient sounds, such as music, should be a merchant skill. With each tree, you get a different song to play as your background music in your shop.
I also agree that cantinas should come with a factory, as well, to help us with our lots. I know that Entertainers and Musicians don't need factories so much, but dang it, we chefs do. I also realize that it's not all about us, but we need our lots for other houses for shops and harvestors.
Honestly for me, the hardest thing is going to be resource gathering. I have friends who are willing to take on all of my stationary structures (houses, factories), but the toughest part is resource gathering for3 reasons:
1) As all of us know we need a large variety of resources (Metal, organic, chemical, gas, radioactive....)
2) I dont want to give my harvestors to anyone else because it is a burden. Its a pain in the butt to move harvestors during every shift and determining which is the best resource.
3) I can't rely on other companies for resources. There isnt a resource gathering business in this game that gathers everything I need and at really good prices. I would need them to sell me orgranics 1:1 or 1:2 to make profit.
Thats the dilemna I'm facing with cantina's. So unless they start gathering milk for me, I am a little preturbed.
Though I can see the usefulness of having a basement or seperate room where I can put my personal belongings or food crates, as Sir Vimes said, it will take forever for them to implement that.
As a Master Merchant/Master Chef wanna-be, I say up with Vendors and down with Vendor competition.
/agree with the previous poster.

Yeah, a basement, or a freezer, would be nice to store organics and stuff in.
I think that they should make the Star Wars chess game actually playable in SWG ![]()
Then youcan actually have the incident where if you lose to a wookie, they can be known to rip off some arms.

Hey all,
Decreasing the amount of lots is not an option since that is tied into the size of the building, and they would need to shrink the building.
I really find that hard to beleive. It is not logical and what about naboo medium houses? they are HUGE and take up 2 lots. Way bigger than player cantinas. If it is true that lot size are generated by the phisical size of a building.. that is just really bad programming. Would have been allot simpler if it was a variable in the code set as a property to each building: Player cantina = 4 lots, etc.
The actual lot size is bigger than the Medium Naboo house, and the storage appears to be larger as well.
I liken the comparision to the Large Houses in terms of lots and storage.
5satisfies me. Would I have liked less?Absolutely, but can understand 5.
I am also 99% sure you can declare it as a residence, since you can do so with Merchant Tents.
Also the Merchent tents are only 1 lot. The tent is small but the actual lot size it sits on it pretty big. Atleast the size of a small house.
