And my other character is a smuggler so I get the point. The point is the weaponsmiths that makes my wuks does NOT determine how good of a smuggler I am. The tailor that makes the cloth for the armorsmith does NOT determine how good the armorsmiths work is. There is a difference between relying on someone to make something for you and your skill meaning nothing but your product being judged only by the stuff you bought from the other profession.

The BE supplements have more effect on chef food than chefs have on chef food. If youd stop smarting to people and read about the experimentation you might learn what people are talking about.

I'm sorry, but I freaking love these changes. Sure the extra stuff, such as BE additives are annoying, but we're a much better class than we were. The skill mod food is awesome, and some of the possibilites of combonations is so cool. I don't see how anyone can view these changes as a negative progression of the chef profession.

Im with you skemo. Granted they can tweak it a bit but man they did great for their first try at live servers. Only two major bugs I know of (barrels and digestion), but other than that its great.

You know I don't come to the chef board as much as I used to, and this thread is a good example of why.

I am sick and tired of all these whiny cry babies who saw the patch and realized that they couldn't make a quick million off the profession anymore. Now you actually have to work to make good food rather than just crank our fishak and sell it for 60k a crate.

If you don't like the patch, fine. Quit chef and get the heck out of the Chef Forum and take your attitude with you. Go find another profession you will enjoy more and shut the *edit* up. No one want's to hear how much you hate the new patch. Coming into the chef board an starting a message titled "These Changes Suck" doesn't help anything, go vent to your family or friends and stop terrorizingthe chef board.

If you have a problem try making a constructive thread about your concerns and problems, in short something that SirVimes can take to the Devs. As soon as the devs see "You guys suck" and "I am quitting" they don't care what you have to say, and niether do I. A few of your are trying to make constructive arguments about the new food but there are just too manypeople in this thread (and sometimes the forum) that have nothing better todo than B*tch and Complain to actually get anything done properly.

If you don't like the new chef stuff and have nothing to do but complain, leave. No one is forcing you to stay, andas a matter of fact no one is asking you to stay either.

Greetings Chefs:

I am a master Artisian / Architect working on Brawler and tonight I spent over 2 hours running to every vendor I could find for the new food item, I have a ton of money to spend but no where to spend it.

I realized today that I can make "Spiced Tea" and it really really helped even though it was crap. So I thought that if I could get some from a master chef I'd be set "Watch out Tuskens here I come", but the problem is NO ONE IS MAKING ANYTHING!

So my question to you is "When ae you chefs going to start working again? I don't want the old stuff I want the new!

So come on work with me on this, itdoes not matter right now how good it is as long as I can get something out of it.

You make it I'll buy it. Spice Tea - Vagnerian Canap - Vasarian Brandy - Teltier Noodles - etc...

Thank you all.

Well First of all the changes only came out this morning. Most chefs still prolly have their components grinding away in their factories so expect to see some food some time tomorrow. Everyone will be trying to make runs of 1000 to try and meet demand so it might take a while to get a variaty out there.

You do realize this patch came at us a day early, we have to do up factory runs of containers (for the drinks), get our scout/ranger contacts to start milking creatures, and scramble for resources that match the new experimental percentages, right?

Give us a couple of days, please.

Oh, you're on Chilastra. I'm getting some foods into my vendor outside Kaadara tonight. Stop by, see if there's anything that catches your eye. But please try to keep your purchase quantity low for now, I'm putting out little crates (5-10 stacks) so more people can try these out.

I'm always amazed by the people in this game. Everyone complains that the patch takes to long. Then everyone complains when the patch comes early. It wasn't moved up just to screw chefs over. Everything else in this game doesn't revolve around chefs.

For me, it is the fact that I planned my gaming time around the ANNOUNCED RELEASE DATE of Feb 12. Now, just because they were "generous" and decided to realease it early, I and many other chef's have to scramble to change what we were doing to master. That is not to mention, of course, all the resources that I harvested or purchased that I wouldn't have needed to had I know the date would have been the 11th!
