I'll do my best for Tempest.

Ummm, I hate to display my NOOBness for all to see (or maybe I'm just technology challenged) but when you say "send stats an link for entries as a PM to me", I'm not really understanding the 'link' part. Do we just send you the screenshot? If it's a link to the screenshot, wherewould we post the screenshot?

I figured what are the odds I'll have competition.

Screenshot and resource stats are on their way sciguy

Coccaba:

In case you don't find it, you can send a PM to someone by clicking their username, and using the "send this player a PM" link on their profile screen. Or click the "envelope" icon that should be near the top-right of your screen, click the "Send a new message" tab and fill in "Send To" line with "sciguyCO"

As for the 'link' part, if you have someplace to post a screenshot (many people use imagedump.com, or most ISPs provide users with a little bit of web space), send me the http address for it. If you don't have someplace to put it, let me know and I'll give you someplace to send it.

Don't worry Choccaba. You will have a little competition. The spawns for some of the resources have really sucked as of late though.

actually its not as simple as counting the yellow boxes...I've had times where I used all 12 points and only 10 boxes were yellow...thing is "partial" boxes don't show...so if a box were even 99% filled...it wouldn't show as a box...it would still be purple...not yellow...combine that with the fact that there are 4 lines...and its not very difficult to disguise 12 points as 10...without using photo editors. theres also the possibility that enough "amazing" successes would cause 11 boxes to show even if someone used only 10 points...not very likely since it'd require quite a few of them all in the same line...but possible.

You are correct it is not 100% for sure you can tell if more than 10 points were used. If the resource stats are known though it is possible to see if someone is better than the best possible with 10 exp points(you have to assume all amazing successes).

However I don't see a huge issue with going with the honor system. I guess I still have faith that a vaste majority of people will follow the rules just because it is the right thing to do. Its just not something I would get worked up about just because all I want to do with this is have a little fun. I rarely get to look at all the odd lot resources for sale. Usually anything less than 100k to a stack I rarely look at. Its just not worth making 10 crates of something that I can't make anymore of.

well not so much concerned with all the people knowingly breaking the rules...but given the number of people talking about BE vercuppti in this thread...its not going to be surprising if more than a few use 11 or 12 points without knowing they were only supposed to use 10.
