Thread: New food chart

Here is a link to a food chart that I made regarding how food is working so far in the Combat Upgrade. I want to stress that the chart is far from complete and is subject to changes at any time. I borrowed the idea for the format from the existing food chart for customers that was based on sciguyCO's chef chart. If you come up with additional information please post to this thread, send me a message or email me in game, whichever is easiest for you to do. My guess is that the chart could change daily as more information is gathered and could be completely scrapped for something new if the devs so desire. Please do not post any bugs in this thread, put those in Higginsis thread about Food in the CU. I hope you find this chart helpful.
New food chart

In the 3 seconds its active for?
I dunno.
I'm also curious what the Dodge & Block foods are doing since it was my impression those modifiers were gone from the game (or at least no longer in any skill tree)
And I've heard reports of Smuggler's Delight being REALLY broken (45 MINUTE downers) as well as the general lack of need with the current few second downers.
And my last bit of grumbling is that it seems that the "higer" level foods with the 50ish filling (Brandy, Accarragm) really got the shaft with the shorter duration. Between the low end foods and stacking with nearly downerless spice I'm not sure I see the need for the extra regen that comes with them.
Not sure about Block, but the Dodge food was never actually tied to the "Dodge" modifier, but was a completely separate reduction in the attacker's ability to hit you. At least that was my understanding, under the previous system. Don't know about now.
O.

I really hope the chefs look at the amount of time their stuff lasts now. Minutes not hours. While having it is NICE, I cannot justify the costs you folks want us to pay for it. I bought 2 cases of food items last night. Cost was 200k. Well, I still didn't get any regen drinks. Just melee buffs. I did the math.
I make 4k per mission when I do the faction missions (only thing I can solo now with the social agro from animals). Those food items lasted 2 missions. Well, if I have to pay another 80-100k for drink, you are talking 37 units in order to break even for this stuff at these prices. This is just plain prohibitive. You want people to purchase your products you are going to have to re-evaluate your prices. Like that or not.

Well consider this though it takes a full run ofBE additives to make 40 crates of said food item. These additives alone cost from 1.4 mil to 2 mil on my server. So we have to sell 10 to 15 crates just to recoup this one cost. Then this doesnt include any other costs such as harvs,energy,resources....the list goes on. Yes they screwed alot teh foods up but thing is the stuff still cost us to make it and we have already a few us lost enough money onfoods that are crap now. Sorry I dont think you will see prices drop much if at all
