Thread: Holo question

Making Holo's no-trade would completely exempt artisans, entertainers, and the like from the use of holocrons. They already acknowledged that as it stands it is balanced in the favor of combat classes, so why would they throw it even further out of balanced?
If this rumor is going around, I'd assume it's nothing more than that.
Don't remember where I saw it but this rumor is FALSE!!! They are NOT making holos non-tradable with this next patch.
Its pretty logical to have them be tradeable because it would tip the balance too far in favor of those who can kill the fastest and can loot the fastest (particularily those with cable/DSS/broadband) if they weren't tradeable. plus it would prevent the lower combat classes and non-combat classes from getting holos and making grouping to get holos meaningless.

Use the next holocron AFTER you've completed the first master. Otherwise it will tell you the same profession, wasting a holocron.
(Sorry about the caps)
If i have mastered no prof's how many prof's will the holo tell me to master??
1 holocron tells you to master 1 profession.
You can use up to 4 holocrons sequencially. (use 1, master profession, use next 1, master prof, etc.)
I have seen people selling 5 holocrons. I have been told you only need 4 holocrons to unlock your jedi slot. They say the 5th one will always be silent. What does it mean if a holocron is silent? and what happens when you "unlock" your jedi slot? Does a little yoda appear above your head and say "to the Jedi Order welcome you do i"
Can someone explain this to me? Thank you very much
I aplogize if this answer is posted elswhere. I just cannot find it
You need a maximum of 4 holocrons. It might go silent before then because you have already mastered one of the given holocron professions before reading it. (They're most definately determined of character creation) If a holocron is silent it means you have done 4 out of 5 professions needed to open your FSCS and the last one you will have to search for yourself. Meaning; you have to master random professions to try to find the correct one which will unlock the slot for you.
10-60seconds after mastering the silent profession a message pops up saying something like "You feel attuned with the Force, your character force sensitive slot has been unlocked" or something of the like. That message pops up in the middle of your screen in white texting. And you're welcome! ![]()
