I posted yesterday that my 1st holo said to master weaponsmith. The question is, should I master Artisan or just go straight up the path to weaponsmith to save skill points or master it and take the risk of an early silent holo?.

Thanks

Since Master Artisan is fairly easy to get, I would do both. This way, you know that Master Artisan will not be revealed to you by any future holo readings. I am doing the same thing with Pikeman. I am also getting Master Brawler before I read my next holo, just to rule it out.

That's what I would do. Start mastering the basic's and you master the elites. I started doing this after my 3rd holocron said Architect then the 4th was silent I did master artisan and Wham the slot unlocks.

personally i'd save all the "easier" professions until the holocrons went silent.

You will be told to master the same profession over and over again, no matter how many holo's you use, until you master that profession. It was tested and posted under Jedi in the proffessions forum. The link for that is on the bottom, but does not expand like the servers does.

no... you can "bank" holos...trade 'em, sell 'em, give 'em away.

You can loot as many as you want without master professions or reading them.

Sell them quick, because rumor has it they will be "no trade" next patch.

I am still waiting for the Scythe, Can you please release it/tell us where to find it?

Making Holo's no-trade would completely exempt artisans, entertainers, and the like from the use of holocrons. They already acknowledged that as it stands it is balanced in the favor of combat classes, so why would they throw it even further out of balanced?

If this rumor is going around, I'd assume it's nothing more than that.

Simple answer, by putting it back in balance. Making Holocron missions. Missions for combat classes, missions for crafting classes, etc. I think this would be WAY better than camping holocron dropping spawns. After all, all they do is give you a hint, it's not like they hand you the FS on a silver platter.

But most definitely, it would mean they were providing non-combat classes with ways of obtaining one. Now that Mounts and Vehicles are out of the way, they can concentrate on the content, and bug fixes.
