Thread: List of Bugs
with regards to the foods that only have a quantity of one, I believe thakitillo fits in this category (though it could just be my ingredient stats)
I've seen some people complain that starshine surprise/cav cream doesn't work, but I tested it and it definitely had an effect for me. I'm just passing this along as second-hand in case there is any relavence.
The dependency on resources to be used in many schematics which do not contain that stat type, auto defaulting to 1 ratings is killing the chance to make quality goods. Those schematics need to be re-visited.

Sorry, but you are mistaken.
If that stat is missing, a 1 is substituted. SV or other chefs here will be happy to provide better examples, but this is a fact. That is why every single combine using bone and or hide is garbage in comparison.
I usually don't use bone or hide for my stuff as I really only make a few food for our PA, but then it must only be a CHEF issue as I know that this does not happen with Medicor Architect.
Havinga friend pull an architect post that discusses this topic.
Edit: Here's the Architect post that I was referring too. He said it's like the 3rd post down.

Anyway, one to add to the bug list:
Bivoli Tempari either doesn't work or provides an actual penalty. Under BE-enhanced Bivoli (+18) my local master doc (100 wound treatment, no tapes, BE clothes, etc.) produced these results:
power 202 enhancement pack:
Tempari bonus: +18. Doc skills: +100.
Actual buffs: 366, 253, 484, 226, 414.
118 effective skill's expected range: 236-715. Note that the 226 result is out of expected bounds.
Expected average: 477.
Non-buffed average: 404.
Actual average: 349.
power 501 pack:
789, 887, 963, 844.
Expected average: 1182
Normal average: 1002
actual average: 872
Two above normal average (404 and 1002, respectively) and seven below. Only one number anywhere near the expected average. The averages for these are 349 and 870. These numbers are 86% and 87% of the non-buffed average, which suggests to me that the Tempari is not only not helping, but that it's actively hurting. Any docs who want to burn a bunch of enhance packs finding more data points are welcome to, or to check my math. Can't say I'm intimately familiar with the way buffs work, but it seems obvious to me that something ain't right.

Tyler, to my knowledge Chefs are the only class for which missing stats work this way.

Actually, I made 3 stacks last night for a doc to test.
1 Non-BE with a 14 buff
1 Failed BE with a 20 buff
1 Good BE with a 24 buff.
She reported to me in mail that after running all 3 stacks (2 uses each stack) she wants crates of the Good BE stuff as it definitely helped. Is it possible she got lucky? Perhaps. I am inclinded to say that the Bivoli worked.
