Has anyone ever even got anything good from fishing? I mean I guess you get fish but anything else? Why would anyone want to fish other to RP a fisher guy stranded on Tat and always whining about, " ah man what a bad dream. I thought there was no water on this planet... uh crap, I wasn't dreaming!"

I caught a fish but I couldnt eat it. Unless I just didnt know how to... so I used the fillet option and it gave me unedible fish resources some chum and the carcass to display for later.

So can u eat the fish or feed them to your pet?

Should we forage anywhere in particular?

I keep finding a bunch of crap.

How do I bait> Just drag and drop? Does the pole need to be equipped before baiting?

use the /forage ability. You don't get this ability untilyou reach Survival 1 (Camping

If you bring up the abilities list Ctrl+A, under the "other" tab you will see Forage listed as an ability. Drag it to a quick key F1 (or whatever). Then hit that key to forage. You will get food and drink and bait.

All you get from fishing is....FISH! ;-)

And the only two things that will come from fish are meat and chum bait (can't remember where in the forums this info came from).

It's really just a diversion, although I think it would be a great addition to Survival XP instead of just camping.

I used my fish as organics in a Stim pack.

The trouble you have to go to get them is not worth it though.

The little messages that you receive after you hook one are interesting though. (At least the first time).

I fish just for the hell of it. With the fish u get the option to fillet them. Once you do this you get chum bait and fish meat. Nothing you can eat

Its just a past time...and I'm inthe mood for it everynow and then.

Sorry for being a moron, but how do I reel the **edit** fish in? It bites, then I lose my bait when I try to reel in a little.
