Sigh. Two of my three favorite correspondents are stepping down: you and MasterNerfSlayer. It seems that it comes in a rash of correspondent retirement, with the dancer and the swordsman correspondents as well.
I appreciate the great input and dialogue your messages have generated everywhere I have seen them. It has been wonderful to have a calm discussion about issues, and most especially when the perspectives are different enough to make it difficult to find a common ground. You have always had a clear head and a great way of expressing yourself. From a bio-engineer's perspective, you have done a great deal to improve chef-BE relations.
I hope stepping down as a correspondent doesn't mean we see less of you. I also hope your successor continues to represent your profession in with the same level-headedness, flair, and style you haveallowedus grow accustomed to.

Sorry to see you go Sciguy. You've been a true asset to the SWG community. Not a week as gone by that I haven't turned to your Revamp Food Chart webpage to discover something new about a food, and your spreadsheets have been more help then I've ever needed.
You've gone above and beyond the call of duty./salute
Now go out there and buy that YT1300/ Winnebago you've always wanted andsee the galaxy.

You've served us well and hope you remain a constant on the chef forums
even though the step-down. We can only hope the next correspondent is half
as dedicated as you are.

SciguyCo,
You've done your profession a great service and you've always respresented them well. I would disagree with your comments regarding continued bad blood between chefs and BE's.
I don't think I've ever had a chef on my server treat me poorly. There have been a few misunderstandings but those are rare and far between. I would like to think your handling of the chef forum contributed to the bettering relationships I've developed with chefs in the last year or so.
The forum is for discussion. People have opinions. BE's and chefs rant at one another from time to time but then nearly everyone does at one point or another. You've always stayed constructive which is key to well run forum.
/salute to you and your fellow chefs.
