Your sarcasm detector is working well I think. Judging by your response, it came off worse than I intended. I just see a lot of servers with rediculously messed up economies, and I see Sunrunner as one that's not so bad. It'd be nice to keep it that way, or even improve it.

i understand, and that being said, i will explain how this price came about. i was speaking some other veterans (who can name themselves, should they choose) about pricing. when you take into consideration that NO ONE else was making this. NO ONE else knew you could make it, as even our correspondent said he thought it take perfect materials to get to 50 filling, as shown by his chart, and i alone had the recipe. for balance reasons, i shared the recipe with one other chef before i started making it, so that there would be two, but this chef chose not to make any. therefore, i was still theonly place you could buy it. it was agreed that while 400k was pricey, it was not outrageous for something that could only be obtained in place from one person. i could have taken full runs and put them up for auction and probably made more since it was so rare. after i finished my runs, i posted this so all could see on every server how to make it. this will balance out the price. why did i choose to wait till after i made my money? if you REALLY need an answer to that question you can PM me, but i warn you: ask a stupid question...

honestly, when i saw the responses i was getting to this i decided to quit crafting altogether. when you get this kind of recognition from your peers, there is nowhere to go but down. i thank everyone for the congrats and /bows and other such love. it really was a humbling thing i did not expect at all. i don't deserve the praise. i have been a chef since the revamp. praise like this should go to people like (on my server) Vallyn, McFish, and and all the other people who mastered chef long ago when it was a weak and worthless class. they deserve the props for sticking with it. i am just some poor schlub who came along and got lucky... and rich

i have already spent about 30 mil since i started selling though. pearls and good DoT loot are expensive, as is the NS vibro's i am buying for the new knuckle schem coming out...

Even at that filling, I still don't think that food is worth it. Say you get a doc/ent buff for a total of 2k HAM accross the board. With this food you get 4k HAM. Now if you take good pikatta pie, about 30% more hits miss you. So that 2000k HAM becomes and effective 2857 and through in some 45% Synthsteak, that 2857 HAM goes to an effective 4395. That leaves a good 50% Fill left, I guess for one of these, but my choice is thakitillo. If your back is on the ground and dizzied, that extra 1k HAM doesn't do much for you.

Though this is from a BE where we make pets and the idea of effective HAM over total HAM is more important. Froma CH point of view, better resists means less pet stim and less pet failure in combat. An extra 1 or 2k HAM doesn't go very far. Though I do see this as a specialty food and people see that 2k HAM bonus and drool. Just when put to numbers, it doesn't add up very well.
