Perhaps you have heard rumors. Possibly, you wandered into this thread simply because you saw the phrase 'double buff'. What we are going to discuss here is the existence of an actual 50% or lower filling Vercupti, possibly the greatest discovery since Vasarian Brandy. Join me, if you will, on my quest to find the right resources needed to drop the Vercupti filling number to 50% or below...

It started about two weeks ago. I was preparing a crate of Vercupti for a friend of mine who was going to be in a PvP tournament that did not allow armour. Food buffs and medical buffs were perfectly legal. I capped the strength at 1220 power to health/action/mind for 8m 30s. Something bothered me though. There was a matter of this 66 filling. Sure, you could use this once, but what happens in 8m when it runs out? I began experimenting with the filling. I got to 80%, then 82%, and finally to 86%, but the filling was still 51. Good enough to buff again in two minutes, but at a great cost to the duration, which was now only 7m 6s. Besides, I was so close to 50%, I could not stop there. I began talking to Doctors, Chef's, and Resourcer's, trying to find that right combination of items to push me beyond 86%. First, I found Uby Insect meat on the far side of Endor. The filling held at 86% and 51 filling, however, my power increased from 898 to 918. Good, but not great. I began going over the stats on my resources and discovered I need better Lube oil and Tubers if I was going to accomplish this. I received an email from a person who had been gathering insect meat for me. I asked them to check around for tubers where the Decay Resistance was above 900 as well as the Overall Quality. "Well," he said, "there are some tubers on Endor right now that are 905DR and 867OQ. Will that work?” I opened my spreadsheet real quick and placed the numbers. The total came to 89.5%. Not quite the 90% I had been hoping for, but worth a look. I asked him to bring a small sample by for testing purposes. If this worked, I would order at least 100k. I mixed these tubers, called Orane, into the vat with the other supplies. Experimentation now yielded an 88% decrease, but the filling number stood at 51. Very puzzled by this I began to wonder if I had been laboring in vain. Is a filling number of 50 achievable? Should I buy these tubers for something that is not giving me the results I want? That I need? I offered 6cpu for them and he accepted. Discouraged I went to the bazaar to see if I could find something there by chance. No better insect meat. Terrible tubers. Then I remembered the Lube Oil and began checking that side. Everything was high on DR and low on OQ or vice versa. Nothing that would stand up to my 707DR 993OQ and challenge for a better % point. I searched all over the bazaars for every planet in the galaxy. Nothing. I wasn't going to give up now, though. I had a renewed spark to find the mysterious 50 filling Vercupti. I began searching through the chems again, hoping maybe I just missed something, when lo and behold I saw it. The answer had been right in front of me! I just couldn't pronounce it! Carbaefoithieum Lube Oil! It had a DR of 987 and an OQ of 880! Surely this would work, wouldn’t it? I bought all I could and sent an email to the seller requesting all they could mine. I hopped on my speeder and rushed back the lab. BAH! OUT OF CRATED DOUGH! I whipped up a schematic real quick and threw it in the factory. The next 48s seemed like 48hrs. Finally I had two same serial pieces of dough to run what I hoped would be the final experiment in the greatest discovery since Vasarian Brandy! I added the dough, then ground up the tubers and mixed in the orane. Next was the lube oil, followed by the insect meat. Finally, I added the finishing touches. A heavy additive meant to give the nutrition an extra kick at 116 power. The filling % started at 26% and the filling total was 65! Both records for my assembly process. I experimented the first point. A GREAT SUCCESS! Then followed with point two, another great success! I continued with points 3 and 4 all the way through point 8. The filling stood at 51, 82%. With the next point, I would hit 89%. Would it be enough? I placed the point, and experimented one more time. A GREAT SUCCESS! The number bumped to 89% with room to spare, and the filling... OMG THE FILLING! IT WAS 50!!! I had done it! A 50 filling Vercupti! I used my final 3 experimentation on the power and hit 1015 at 7m 6s. I could now instantly buff for over 2000 HAM!!!

After that, I bought up all the Orane, Uby, and Cabaefoithieum I could find and began churning out as Vercupti as I could. At 400k per crate of 25, I was a little unsure of how it would be received until that first order came in. I sold 160 cases in 72hrs, 95 by pre-order. Over half had sold based on the concept alone. They had never seen nor used the Vercupti before. Well, here I am. 220 cases of Vercupti later, about ready to retire from the Chef biz. Before I left, though, I wanted to make sure every Chef out there knew how to make the legendary double buff vercupti. I wanted them to know how I did it. So, here is your final formula for optimum success...

At 89%, the filling will drop to 50. At 90%, it drops to 49. If you experiment 8 points at once on the filling line and get an amazing success, you can save an extra point for the nutrition line. The best I ever made was 49 filling, 1058 power for 7m 6s. Records were made to be broken, and I look forward to seeing the next Chef come along who breaks mine. Moreover, if you happen to play on the Sunrunner server, I just gave you the recipe for the best food since we got vasarian brandy. An instant 2000+ buff to health/action/mind. It's a good thing.

Sincerely,

Mor-Dan Kin

Did the 64 million you sold the 160 cases for cover your costs? Was there a few credits left for you? I sure hope so, I'd hate to see you go broke. :-/

My first thought on reading the title was that you had just slapped a filling additive in and expected us to be impressed.

But that's.....just wow. /salute Mor-Dan

I guess some numbers I ran were wrong, I thought 50 filling was the 100% experimention endpoint. If you can get to it with 89%.....

I may have to re-check my resource stock for high DR. I know I've got some tubers that are 900+ in everything but flavor (I hope that includes DR, I still sometimes fall back to the OQ/FL/PE habit). And it looks like some pretty good lube oil just spawned on Chili...

To give you guys an idea of some stats to expect for those of you not on sunrunner....

I had a dance buff and 2200 buffs with the double buff vercupti and had a total of 5700 health and action. For the mind i had 6700 and that was with BE brandy, powerboost, muon gold, and the vercupti. Granted it only lasts 7 minutes, but for those 7 minutes, you are god .

Thanks a ton for this awesome idea. I was able to make some similar tonight +1016 7min 24 sec 49 fill. I got to 49 fill with an amazing success at 87% I believe. I used a 114 tissue for the power. Tommorrow I am going to try some higher tissues to seeif I can get the power up over 1050. Now the tough part...getting enough meat for a few factory runs....

Again...thanks for the great work posting this.
