Thanks for information ! Very sad to hear this, but thanks anyway
The devs are really true masters of breaking working things in a way they do not make fun anymore ... so all chefs got is the hope for a soon(TM) revamp
ok I'm new to the chefprofession but not new to eating foods...hehe here is my take on the filling vs not stacking issue. The fill has to be a separate meter compared with stackability because if it was made so a person could only take 1 drink then you are limiting your entire sales to that one "best" drink however if each option was modified based on stats and stackability you end up with a ton of options and selling many different items.
there are a number of foods that all do the same thing really and there for are not allowed to stack. Like most of the drinks all kinda do the same thing so you can only use one since the stats are all pretty close a consumer will weigh fill over duration and thats what you are going to sell. Why not simply give a more obvious choice make the stats more specific with certain caps
forget about the names of the food for a bit and what does what lets say you have 4 stats to modify also forget about all the other modifications for now because the numbers would get crazy. make it so you can stack 1 food with 1 drink but not two drinks and not two foods
statHealth,Health reg,action reg,mind regfill duration

As a Chef, I resent this. As noted by many, FILLING is the stack prevention in food. Filling should be the only stack prevention. When something gets so complicated you need excel sheets to tell a player what he/she can or cannot eat/drink at that very moment then menues dwindle dow to basically 4 foods and maybe 2 drinks.

Agreed. As someone said in an above post, you cannot even stack a drink and a food with the same stats, and that is just stupid. A person should have the option of choosing to have a higher ham with less status effecting foods or more status effecting foods and less ham. That is how you should be able to balance it out.
Higgy,
Have you heard ANYTHING from the devs about our bugs/issues? Even if all you can tell us is "they are looking at it" its more than we know now.
I think its 2-3 pubs since we have heard anything from them.
My sales are still all over the place, but I really don't feel that the right foods are doing the right job. I sell 2 times the artisan foods that I do the Chef foods. I would hope that they are at least looking at whats up and thinking about fixing it sometime this year ![]()
Several of our bugs are simple 1-3 codeline repairs, perhaps we need to yell a little more? It seems to work for Jedi, but not for AS on the other hand. Idon't mean to whine, or complain, but it just seems to me that we have not heard a word about chef since just after the CU, beginning of may or so,
I always pass on the info i can as soon as i hear it, so be assured as soon as i know, you guys will.
Generally when it comes to bug fixes though, we don't know before the patch notes come out either, so its just a case of waiting i'm afraid.
And believe me, you have no idea how sick i am of saying that.

Firstly I wanna say I think you're doing a grand job Higginsis!
But whats the point of you (or anyone else) informing them of problems if they don't bother listening or doing anything about it let along to send out a message reassuring the respective communities that somethign IS being done about it.? Its depressing to get this whole feeling of apathy from them regarding our issues and other crafting profs issues who are loyal to SWG and to their proffession.

Question: If and when the foods/drinks that aren't working correctly are fixed, will I need to buy newly crafted versions of these foods/drinks?
Most probably the existing foods will be updated, but never trust a dev
especially when they try to "fix" a crafterprof
