ya know..youve been nice in the manner youve carried yourself...but once again you are wrong. Your post wasnt removed, it was one starred into oblivion. Youve managed to belittle us, you felt for some reason the correspondant needed to answer you personally, you alluded that we were keeping secrets from you with the faq/guide, you claimed the exp required doubled and is harder on you when it was in fact the same...Perhaps its time to call it a day?

hmm.

For me the slowest part about Mastering Chef was getting the resources from my harverster. I Mastered Chef in a week starting with no resources and would some days run out of resources before I got too bored with grinding.

I just made Master Chef 5 days ago on Flurry, not because a holocron told me so, but for people in the city I live in and the fun I am having with it.

My holocron told meMaster Brawler. Hope I dont get Bounty Hunter, I'm not droping Chef.

No kidding StolenDiagram. Chef was so much easier in the early days. No practice mode and only small flora harvs (BER 2), coupled with the same xp requirements... it was a cakewalk.

/sarcasm off

Hmmm... I grinded chef completely without macros. Now tell me how hard it is. So easy to grind now because you don't get bored as fast as having to wade through 3 extra windows :/.

I mastered chef months ago...has it really been that long now? I spent a few weeks grinding an hour a night as I was able to harvest and sample enough resources.

When I needed money, I ran destroy missions...when artisan missions were added, I ran those hours every night, grinding while running...when the distance was changed, I found an alternative way to complete missions faster. At the same time I was also working on the combat side of my character. I am not a powergamer in the sense the word is used to describe players who do spend a lot of time in the game. It took 6-8 weeks to master, but in reality, it tookless than 20 hours of hardcore grinding. I've been a master for a bit and only two things come to mind when I see posts like this...

1. nothing is truly difficult...if one person can accomplish something...so can someone else...there is no excuse beyond laziness or stupidity for not accomplishing something...someone may take 10x as long as someone else to complete it...but it can still be done.

2. People who would rather complain, rather than "tow the rope" either lack the ability to understand the nature of the task (its purpose, the goal, the intended idea, the vision) or they believe that the world is here to only service or entertain them...

On the holocron idea....it would have actually been smarter for the devs to have a specific path for profession progression (ie you have to master the combat classes related to a jedi - unarmed, 1 hand sword, 2 hand sword, pikeman and the support classes that match their skills - entertainer/musician/dancer and medic/doctor -- after all, if are supposed to be superior warriors and able to heal themselves in all aspects, does that not make sense?). Their idea of random professions just goes to prove it was that the jedi system was either not given enough time to be implimented in a more creative way or was added within days of the first slot being unlocked...lol but thats enough for conspiracies...

Chef owns. Develop some interest in being one of the most rare and unique professions in the game and you will find yourself excited to grind it out and get your new recipes. I am a 0344 atm, going to be 0444 tonight, and every time I'm doing a mindless 40 minute grind for a lvl IV skill I just push myself through it by thinking about all the neat new recipes I'm getting...its all about your mindstate dude...this is a very simple profession to grind..much easier than weaponsmith or armorsmith.

You know what, I hope they don't change the experience requirements, on top of the fact that I hope they don't change schematics so much, to where somebody can't grind 180exp per item.

I think Hologrinders, grinding Architecht, are a joke. An item that gives you 4-5k per item, is ridiculous. Statues, should never have been grindable, and that's my thoughts on it. I'm happy it takes more then 1 day to grind off Chef.

As far as hologrinding goes, I'm very displeased at how openinig your FSCS is done. They didn't put any thought/time in to it, and figured, just make them master 5 random professions, and all will be good in the universe. Nobody will ever become a Jedi. Well, then they added Holocrons, and guess what? They messed up there whole thoughts as to "We will only see 3-5 Jedi per server", now we have 50-60 Jedi, per server.

I thought Jedi where supposed to be so scarce, to where we didn't have more then a HANDFUL at any given time. You know what that is right? Anyways, I hope you grind through chef, and get out of our profession as quickly as possible.

And thats just already...just think what it will be like in 6 months. Im so sick of being insulted by holochefs...Hi Im a holochef can I slap you around a bit because Im uber *snarls* Being able to grind the fastest and having the most money to buy supplies has got to be the absolute lamest thing ever imagined to being on the path to jedi. Sony has taken something special and turned it into bottomfeeding garbage. Yea Im grumpy as crap...I should just start a perma afk message too.
