more details for fun...this time instead of using my best stuff, I'm going to use my worst.

for the BE additive:

Wheat
FL 63
PE 806
OQ 688

Meat
FL 376
PE 312
OQ 492

maxed at +76

Before I was at about +86 (although I'd had a failure in the previous batch while making my additive) I wanted to be a bit more scientific this time, so I'm including every detail. Although you'll quickly see how little effect those 10 extra points would really have made in the final product before.

Large Glass (again)

Worst berries I have
DR 149
FL 932
PE 965
OQ 514

worst fruit I have
DR 363
FL 780
PE 720
OQ 848

base results of +295 36m stack 9 52%

filling 51 -good
filling 49 -great
nutritional value 309 - amazing
nutritional value 320 - great
nutrutional value 330 - great
nutrutional value 341 - great
nutrutional value 352 - great
nutrutional value 362 - great
nutrutional value 373 - great
nutrutional value 387 - great

Final Results using my BEST materials:+396 mind stats for 38m at 49% filling in stacks of 10

Final Results using my WORST materials: +384 mind stats for 36 m at 49% filling in stacks of 9

What seems to be moral of the story here is to useBE materials as often as you can...even if you use complete trash materials. That's nearly doubling the buff using some trashy materials.

ok dumb question.

i tried adding a medium nutrisional food additive but i couldn't.
is this the wrong additive ? or am i missing something ?

Food recipes require Additives. The schematics for those are in DomArts IV (Light), Novice Chef (Medium) and Master Chef (Heavy). The additives are where you put the BE tissue/bio component/whatever. There's no experimentation on the additive, just add water.

We have got to come up with different terms for whether we're talking about the chef-crafted things vs. the BE crafted things.

Hmmm. Tissue plus water. Apply heat. Soup anyone?

I made the same mistake last night. Was getting tired. Had my BE with me passing me tissues and none of them worked. Realized this mourning I needed to make the additive first. OOPS!

Same here. Crit failed ALOT. I'm actually hoping this is just the chef class. I really don't want to see this stuff with my BE when I get back into making clones. Here we lose a few materials, with BE you lose alot of time .

Sounds good guys.

And yes, I too had quite a few failures and critical failures yesterday. You would think being a master would give you a higher success rate.

There's a lot of talk in this thread about a 30-minute stomach timer, but my experience on Wednesday suggested its really 45 ... anyone actually see a 30-minute stomach timer yet?

Okay...just running some initial numbers here:

Medium Nutrient
20 Organic (15 cpu=300)
15 Flora Food (15 cpu=275)
15 Creature Food (20 cpu=300)
875 per additive

Small glass
10 gemstone (15 cpu=150)
50 per glass

Large glass
100 gemstone (15 cpu=1500)
1500 per glass

medium food additive

15 water (15 cpu=275)
1 medium food bio component (875)
1150 each

alchohol
10 cereal (15 cpu=150)

Vasarian Brandy
2 alcohol from crate (300)
20 fruit (15 cpu=300)
20 berries (15 cpu=300)
1 drink cont-large glass(1500)
1 med food add (875)

3275per stack * 25 for a crate = 81,875 say 80k a crate
320 a hit?

This makes it only slightly more than my fishak was priced at (55k/crate)? I didn't include any factory run times in this equation, but I'm wondering what others are going to be pricing theirs at?
