btw I was on test center and onthe carabineer tree I saw +5 speed mods on the special abbilities tree - which gives us 20 extra speed and well - puts us right between rifle and pistols at 80 speed mod

Oh yeah - how about instead of making higher level shots hit for more damage and slower the devs make them hit for more damage at lower ham cost - I.E. the higher you go in the tree the lower your ham gets - makes perfect sense - while a novice soldier can hurt themselves holding the gun in the wrong way(true story - this guy got his hand torn cause he was holding the gun for the moving part) the expert soldier will fire a carabine with expertise and less effort - faster and more accurate - after the first 2000rounds shootingbecomes real real easy

I still think the best solution to the Elite is to make it faster. Its an all around weapon that even with crud resources could still kick ass if it were just a second faster. If you really want a cannon get a laser, they are already being made with amazing stats.

I still think even if we get a minor HAM cost fix would help.

How can it be this tough on a body to pull a trigger afterall?

#8 actually works both ways. often when im kunga hunting with my guild, i hit peace to throw a quick heal. Nothing is attacking me, but sometimes i get hit anyway. red text in combat chat "Some Name (kunga warrior) hits your for 1300 points of damage!" but my ham does not go down, its like i was never hit. so i guess this nonengaged combatent bug works both ways on area attacks.

Hey TH prove us wrong get back to us and let us know when and what will be fixed. If not you will be like every other dev that has posted promises then you leave for a few months and follow thru on NONE of it. Hey if you think im wrong just do a search of all dev posts in here.

We don't trust SOE anymore and its up to you to re earn that trust at this point you dont get to walk in and have it anymore (broken promises will do that)(inaction will do that).

If you need info read SOJ's weeklyemails if you want more read the forum or the state of the profession. what we need from your end is action nothing less is acceptable. We are near month 5 and they havent even spelled the name right. Tell us how long you expect us to wait. 6 months 7, 10, 12, 24.

here is the post i think i will see next week

I have read the state of the profession and could you get me more info on these issues.

mid december

I am still unclear on what the problems are

mid january

ah i think i know what some of the issues are but we are in the ramp up to the space expansion and any major fixes will have to be after that

mid june the space exp is taking longer than we thought and it is being pushed back to september

TH moves or gets promoted

new guy could you collect your issues and get them back to me so i can look them over

wash rinse repeat

sometime after the death star expansion we get fixes

Very nice post SOJ, I think you have some great ideas, and I hope developers will hear you. I agree with almost everything you said.

With one exception:

SOJ, for the love of God... do NOT- DO NOT- suggest any changes to the Crippling to the developers. I know that you have good intentions and all, but it is the only skill that we have that is trullyworking well. Can we not like, not mess with it please?

I think we all realize that Crippling shot as it is now damage-wise will never be Action Pool only. As for any other changes - the chances of it becoming just another useless broken specials after they changeit aremuch higher then anything else.

In a profession that is mostly broken, we have 1 - ONE - skill that isworking nicely. LEAVE IT ALONE!! The idea is to deal with all those other things that are screwed-up and fix them before we even think of messing with Crippling shot.

I dont know how to emphasize this more..I even used colors which I never do I mean cmon people this is plain old common sense. You do not start fixing something by screwing with the good parts. It is an unnecessary gamble, a needless risk - we are in the shallow water enough. Lets ask for simple things first and maybewe will get them... in a few more months. Just say no to changing Cripple Shot.

And yes, Elernet does have a point. Although it would be nice to havecrippling shotan action pool only attack, the risk for it being screwed up does raise when you tamper with it like that.
