That would work ok if the jedi was caught out in the middle of nowhere and killed the BH butmost of the time the attack happens in popular areas and what happens as soon as people hear/see the glowie? They all come running to watch and there goes your visibility through the roof.
A Jedi knight should win easily in a head to head match.
Trying to make the BH a class of combat equals is stupid. BHs win by gaining advantage and attacking their target when they are vulerable.
Bh have these tools in this game now, they just don't use it. Instead they complain about not being able to kill Knight level jedi like a normal class.
Case in point. I'm out hunting. Same faction BH comes up to me.
I'm obviously buffed and ready to fight. What does he do? He opens fire.
I even gave him time to give up the chase and go home, He didn't take the hint. He died.
Had he been a good BH he would have tracked me and waited until I was ingaged with some tough npc and my ham was getting hit.
Then send in a droid, maybe even play friend and ask if I needed help, to put off any suspision I had about him. Nope , he just opened up.
There are good tactics that good BH use, most choose not to.

That'll just encourage the formation of some major huge gank squads so they can ensure that they dont lose.

BH shouldn't be able to geta mission on lowly jedis. The grind is tough and having one UBER MBH against them is plain abuse really...
How did i get the vis? who knows? i watched out. Now i have to put away my jedi for 3 weeks because SOE says so. I CANT do anything at all right now. I can only kill quenkers and it looks like its where i get the most visibility. Cool thing.. can't do anything but get visibility if i want to grind.
Which means? I will never ever get past ls 0020. Thanks SOE. I just want to cancel the account because I can't PLAY.
I think its a abuse on low jedi. They should put a minimum xp loss in those cases.
Your complaints are really not valid. I cant even begin to count how many posts like yours I have seen. Listen, first of all get the hell of dantooine.. No new jedi should be grinding there..Its vis city...I train jedi in our guild. We have quite a few new ones now so needless to say at any given time there are jedi out grinding. Never has any of them been on the terms because they listened to us older jedi and avoided all possible situations that would cause them problems. You should be grinding on either Yavin or endor right now..As you get to higher levels you can eventually go to dathomir but not for quite awhile. There are also certain places and certain ways to grind that can keep you off the terms throughout your whole grind if you want. We have done it many times now with jedi coming up in the guild.
So when I read posts like yours all I can say is things happen, sometimes you will get run up on with the saber out or npc's spawn on top you, etc. But beleive me I know exactly how you feel. I have been there. But the new jedi have learned from all our mistakes in the past. Back in pre-patch 9 we didnt know alot of the info that you guys know now so you should definantly take the advice of Jedi who have been there and done that. Also, get into a good supportive guild. Get to know the people in it, talk on voice chat to start to build a relationship with these people. Believe me it goes Along way when you know you have many diffirent player proffesions from Doc's to combat proffesions and right on up to high level jedi who would be willing to die to protect you. Thats how it is in our guild and we do very well.
But seriously, dont give up. I know you feel like crap now and it hurts to lose all that xp that took a real long time to grind out. But the bounty hunter profession is in the game for one main reason. To kill jedi and try and slow down your leveling process. They do not prevent Jedi from achieving their goals they just slowus down. So remember, you got killed, now you have 0 visibility. Take a little break, avoid dantooine, and get right back out there and keep chugging along. You will get there. It takes awhile and the grind is grueling but you will get there and when its all done and your template is complete it's the best feeling the game has to offer in my opinion. I finished my template about3 months ago but I can still remember the sense of relief when it was done. If you have not done the jedi grind or ever played a jedi you really cant know what we mean but people that have they know exactly what Im saying.
