Dizzy sticks and works well on PvP but on creatures, I tried the Dizzy + KD combo but they just seem to get up as fast as a normal KD... is this supposed to be like this
?

Carbineer has gone from the most broken prof (ever since Pike got there accuracy mods fixed) to the one that IMHO works the best in a few simple fixes that have been needed since day 1

I was testing out the specials on friends a lot today and on npc missions. They stick on most npc's quite easy...not so well on teh dark troopers though : (. But as for players...it realy depends greatly on the class your fighting. I had a realy crappy cdef made and dueled my fencer friend...almost master. After hammering him with fas2 for about 5 minuts it only stuck about 5 times. But on another friend that has much less def against dizzy it stuck after a shot or two every time. The same went for posture down and kd's. You just have to pay attention to your shots and do them at the right time. We are still far from uber just now we got some toys.

Anyone happen to have detailed info like this for the carbine oriented specials in the marksman tree as well? I just think it would be nice to see how they compared to the elite specials in DPS and damage/HAM.

Please note while the chance to apply 3 states seems great, and it is, the chance to apply a state is low.

could you please clarify what this means?

"Please note while the chance to apply 3 states seems like the greatest shot in the game, the % chance to apply just ONE of the THREE random states is around 25% give or take."

This is meant to make people aware that we don't have a reliable DIZZY attack.

Great work , things seems to work

Chargeshot2 - AoE/cone - Random pool damage and a chance to knockdown all targets in a cone. Character goes through a "charge" animation when firing. Cannot be used prone or kneeling.

Has anyone actually managed to do multiple kd ?

I've been trying but no luck

McSnackbar - retired chef

Moorhdath - Geriatric jedi

Erdath - Dead and buried "elder" jedi

I have successfully used the Multi-KD chargeShot2 on a group of 5 Selonian Captains on Corellia. I used FullAutoFire2 first, then BurstShot2, and then used chargeShot2, followed by another FullAuto2. They KD'd and 4 died when I used Fullauto2 a second time, the fifth stood up and i killed him with a crippleshot.

I have been able to get multiple KD's. Occasionally i will get the failed KD message, but the 2 other in AoE/Cone will fall over.

Awesome job Nova. I have been quietly reading your posts for a month. I just got Master Carbineer tonight !

So I appreciate your very detailed professional work.

Redundancy is still an issue I would raise if I had you in person. I play on Wanderhome as well.

I dropped TKA to play as a carbineer. I have Master Doctor so I am pretty much buffed at all times. I just wanted to say that this thread will help me alot.

I find it only seems to work for me if I'm at close enough range that the charging animation takes me within melee range of the target. Is this the case for others that have said it works for them?

I haven't noticed anybody else complaining about the animation butI hate that it runs towards the target. If I wanted to be at short range I'd have run into short range and NOT be trying to knockdown my target.

I just got ChargeShot2 a couple nights ago and I have gotten multiple knockdowns on tight groups at Fort Tusken. I haven't tried it anywhere else yet.
