Quandry, too bad Posture Change % is soooooooo much lower than KD % to hit.....

Assault Tactics
Scattershot1 - single target - Selects two random pools, hits those and applies the damage evenly between the two pools. Since the pools are picked randomly, it can hit two different pools or hit the same pool twice.
I've noticed something with Scattershot1 just now as I was playing before Pub 7. Upon using scattershot1 on a Huurton Stalker, I used scattershot to kill it. I had dmg numbers float over its head that were all of 1 color (red, green or blue) mix of two colors and WHITE.
As a TKA who often loses his spare HAM after /powerboost wears off, i know white numbers floating away means an (almost) equal proportion of dmg to all 3 HAMs, and combinations in the other mixed colors, violet, cyan, yellow, etc, means a different portions of the Health/Action/Mind HAM being taken off.
In light of this, could it be that both scattershot1 & 2 both hit 3 random HAM stats, (be they H-A-M or H-H-A or A-M-M) but the only difference is the damage increase?
Just something I've noticed, as I've pretty much taken Novamarine's findings to be gospel truth about carbine specials.
Could it have been lag (Ping was about 100) or does anyone else notice this?
Oh and yeah, 1st time posting in Carbineer forums... first time poster, but long time lurker. I must say that although I started up Carbineer due to chasing the FS dream, I love that this isn't a grind at all. I'm having tonnes of fun as a Carby ![]()
Just a guess win but maby by some slim chance you hit mind and health with the scatter the same time a bleed ticked on action? The scatter should have a higher damage per pool than a bleed but its all i can think of to give white numbers unless the mobs are power boosting lol...wich would be bad.
Also if your using an avrage laser with the low low min damage its a good chance that you hit the lower end of your damage with the bleed.

Also i have noticed with /fullautosingle2 i apply a state every 3-4 attacks, usually by 8 hits you get a stun and blind. I am probably gonna be doing a lot of PvP tonight, so i will make sure to keep track off how often i am getting those states to stick.
I need to go collect some Dathomir Herb Meat before i head off down the PvP road. So i will make sure to watch how many shots it takes to get dizzies applied in PvE, and then i'll try and do the same for PvP. Hopefully i will have results tomorrow

I noticed it taking about 4 shots to get one state stuck but another person reported needing 5 shots. Of course sometimes I stick both in under 5 shots, but then there are times I miss for 8 or 9 in a row too.

Please note while the chance to apply 3 states seems great, and it is, the chance to apply a state is low.
could you please clarify what this means?
"Please note while the chance to apply 3 states seems like the greatest shot in the game, the % chance to apply just ONE of the THREE random states is around 25% give or take."
This is meant to make people aware that we don't have a reliable DIZZY attack.
Exactly. It seems like the chance to apply a state is about 1 in 5. I do not want Carbine users or other classes to think we are walking around with a special that when used once will blind, stun and dizzy a target.
Considered that statement a pre-emptive nerfherder strike ![]()
