Thanks to everyone who is adding their own tips for this class as well! That's one reason I made this, to do what I can for the community, and for the community to help me as well.

Btw...hope everyone makes sure use their new specials to all new effect! Gonna have to redo part of my guide now...

Great post - I know it took a lot of work to put together.

My Comments:
1. Im a wookie so no armor which sucks. So instead of Armor Im a master creature handler and I use my pets to take the kinetic dmg off me.

2. Since Im an MCH I can get higher level missions with +70 lvl pets grouped with me. If I can get them, I do Seething bols on Dantooine. I get roughly 4K-4.5K XP per bol, there are no babies for these so that's 3 bols per lair x 4K - 12K x3 =36K plus roughly 4k for the lair - 40K per mission and 80K XP per outing.

3. I am always buffed when I hunt - just Holding a carbine drains HAM! I used FAS2 until I got Crippleshot - with an EE3 because Bols are vuln to heat.

4. I pull the dudes one at a time by bleeding with one shot, a few secs later they attack me - Im at 85m from lair so the family wont all attack - when the beast is roughly 50 meters, I attack with pets and as soon as they make contact I start spamming (FAS2 or Cripple). I have tried using scattershot2 but I think its about the same as crippleshot. FAS2 is a bit faster but crippleshot has a better dmg modifier.

This methodology works if you have good pets that can tank and some pet stims. I admit that the lairs take a bit longer but I like the sustained killing and I get 16K per mission (80K XP and 32K cash per outing).

If you want to do any ranged prof and you're a wookie - get Master CH - no armor is a huge penalty and we get no special resists or anything to compensate for that. So, pvp is a whole different story (and I wont get into that here).I think the whole no armor thing is stupid - if Chewy had needed armor at some point - he would have gotten some. The only people in the entire 5 movies out so far that wear armor are BHs and Stormtroopers - are they the only profs that get to wear armor?

Hi all, im no carbineer but im planing to do that shortly, however i have found a great way to xp combat classes fast. The key is to migrate all possible stats to Mind/will/focus. I play human with 400 in all physical stats and 1000/1000/1000 on mind stats. Now this requires u to alway shunt buffed, but heck most of us already follow that golden rule anyway. Now with buffs i have some nice stats on physical (enough to tank anything even reminding of a quenker) and i have enough mind stats to do pretty much whatever i like.

Cheers and if anyone has any oppinion on my tactic feel free to leave a reply as i would like to hear what u have to say.

Vagnerian Canape, less expensive than brandy, and better buffs on your secondaries. I use +693 Canape twice and the little blue number vanishes completely when I work.

I normally did the quenker/savage quenker missions but have discovered that the Hurton Howler missions are generally better xp wise.

You usually get 3 spawns per round (same 3 rounds per lair) this consists of either 2 Howlers (3.8k xp each) and a regular Hurton (1.8k xp each) or 2 Regs and 1 Howler. The thing is they seem to drop much faster (15% energy resists). I use a Laser Carbine on them with Burst Shot 1 currently.

Also, a brucey bonus is finding one of those dynamic spawns that gives you 5 Howlers x 3 rounds, near on 60k xp in no time. These always seem to pop up inbetween 2 missions for me north of the Agro outpost.

If your buffed you can of course just pop a 1 or 2 vasarian brandies and sit in the middle of 5 spamming away.

I keep getting frustrated sometimes cause I cant solo like others and do those massive hits in PVP. When I read your comment about crowd control, that hit home. that is exactly what I do . sit back and spam fas2 . Thanks for writing this guide. kept me as a carbineer
