stop calling it carabineer you morons

its freaking CARBineer


and it doesnt suck at everything. I do perfectly well with my template in pvp and pve and i waste some of my skills on SL so chill.

I don't have any problem with rifleman. The hardest fight I've had is against a fencer/tkm. Kd/dizzying them is hard as hell, and when you do get em down you gotta kill them before they get up. Pain in the arse.

rifleman get 160 at master i think... -50 pb range mod with a jawa and you still have +110... plenty for killing people at 0 meters

When your a carbineer and your fighting a rifleman... just delude yourself into believing your a TKM you'll be fine.






Believe it or not, a Carbineer DOES have a chance in hell to kill a Rifleman! (gasp!)


Just keep the Dizzy state on them and hope they're trying to kite you, then use a PD and hope they fall. (This is if they've eaten Thak or are Defense Stackers).


Otherwise, just FAA2 + CS2(or Confusion Shot + Fire KD if you have BH Carbs) and go for it.

700 damage/sec in PVP? Let's see... To deal 700 damage, we'd need a gun capable of hitting 2800 damage in PVE. Divide by 1.5 damage mod, then again by 5.0 for CripplingShot's mod, we come up with a gun that needs at least 373 max damage. Definitely achievable for a DXR6. But now let's assume you're going against someone who's competent. That means they have 70% armor (a very low assumption) and, since they're melee, some manner of toughness. So now we need at least 1243 for max damage (since we're now only doing 30% damage, and that's only counting the armor, not the toughness). Please let me know where you found such a gun.

Even using a DXR6 with 500 max damage, a better DXR6 than I've ever seen, you're still only doing 500 * 1.5 * 5.0 * 0.25 * 0.3 = 281 max damage per shot.

I don't care for arguments like this one. Just DON'T LIE IN ORDER TO SUPPORT YOUR VIEW. I WILL CATCH YOU.

what a bunch of whiners carbineer is not a profession with 1 special that you gotta spam in order to win.
master carbineer, BH 3/4/0/0 novice brawler[for intimidate] and medic 0/2/4/0[can drop medic to novice and get pistoleer 0/0/4/0 for defence].
i kick ass in pvp, simple as that, my armor is 33% stun and 63% base[crappy enc slice].
me and a guildie carbineer with the same template of mine went pvping, just the 2 of us.
and look, we get jumped by a tkm and a rifleman, the most feared professions![HA!].
oo look, a intimidated rifleman and stunned one will do about 15-50 damage with his jawa ion to mind BEFORE armor! and they die.
my DPS is very high, cripple shot and scatter2[scatter have a 33%/33%/33% to hit HAM] does anywhere from 200-1.2k pvp damage, my laser carbine is 2.5 93-469.
i duel TKMs and rifleman at starport that laugh at my carbines, and after i incap them they tend to ask what my template and how i did it, carbineer is ALOT MORE efficent in group pvp then rifleman, or even a brave TKM.
and no, i dont use any form of DOTs in group pvp carbineers are a wonder, we can do blind/stun/dizzy to GROUPS of enemys in 1-3 shots then KD them all with chargeshot2.
only thing i cant beat is a battle ready defence stacker, TBH i dont even expect to since nobody can kill a defence stacker beside another one[no rifleman cant..].
also remmeber, your not a front line fighter, let the melee die first while to dominate the battlefield, your greatest advantage is people underestimating you and going after carbineers last.
LEARN TO PVP!

i agree carbineer is great in group pvp, and its damn fun too


I dont mean to burst your bubble though, but tbh that tkm and rifleman dont seem very good. with only 66% armour on the tkm should be able to do a fair bit of damage, while if the rifleman used a decent jawa, or any other weapon he would also be doing a heck of a lot more than 50 damage, try 250


But yeah underestimated carbineers can own in pvp

Ugh... 1200 damage in PVP?!? Are you **edit**ing KIDDING ME? 469 max damage * 1.5 * 5.0 * 0.25 is 879 damage. You'll hit 1200 damage if your opponent is wearing AP 0 armor with 0% resists, but not otherwise. I don't care for the rest of your post. I believe that you do well in PVP, because I do too. Just be a little more courteous and accurate with your numbers.

do you really think i will just stand and let the tkm beat me?hell no im going to kit, make him kneel, KD his butt till i kill him.
also intimidate+stun=85% less damage, synsteak[only food i ever eat anyway]+psg+stun armor+range mit3=good bye jawa ion

i did 1.2k with scatter hit on a KD target, thats BEFORE armor.

Then you didn't actually do 1200 damage. Before armor, I can do 3000 damage to a Nightsister Elder. OMG I RULE. Oh wait...

yes it is 1.2k pvp damage, suprise suprise your enemy's armor can be anywhere from 20% to 90%, im not going to see the numbers above the head, i just look at the combat log after each battle.

edit: well im not going to argue with you about it, its different views nobody can change each other's views of combat, g'morning im going to bed[3:33am]
