Novice Pistoleer

Great offensive mods, decent defensive mods and a truckload of crowd control

Also works great as a RP template as it gives decent mods to unarmed combat, but does not make him a "kung-fu master"

Master Carbineer, Master scout - nice for mask scent and better running speed - and master CH - helps for when i either want to solo or when my group needs a tank.

Ayami - MCH since september '03 and until NGE.
The removal of CH and the NGE in general is the dumbest thing a company has ever done. period.
CH deserves to stay, and SOE deserves to be *#&$^#*@ until they are #*&$& and then *#&$ some more!

Master Carb/Master Doc/Pistol 0400

Rather than go for the speed bonus with Master Marksman, I went for the accuracy bonus with the line in Pistoleer.

When is all is said and done I will end up, MM|MS|CarbineerX4XX|Rifleman 4XXX|PistoleerX4XX|CommandoX4XX


That will give me general ranged accuracy 295,


Total pistol accuracy 335
Total carbine accuracy 360
Total rifle accuracy 380

I am enthralled by this template... But what level does it leave you at? If I didn't blow today's respec on trying out melee (it's very disappointing... Massive tanking with zero damage. At least if you keep smuggler that is) anyway, does this bring you up to level 80? And for me to do this I would have to abandon the top two boxes in commando for my FS skills, though it's either that or MM, and MM has more accuracy and speed compared to those two boxes.


Yes, this is definatly what I'm going to respec to tomorrow.

You get 30 more accuracy but I get 15 more speed. I got +25 in carbine tapes +10 from PSG and I can take +40 in food to make up for that. However you only get 70 speed without tapes, seems just too low.

Speed doesnt matter all that much mate.

Once you get below a modified speed of 2.0 on a weapon, you're talking less than tenths of a second difference between you and someone with a slighly higher speed firing the same special. Accuracy, on the other hand, directly affects how much damage you do.

Master Carbineer, Master Bounty Hunter, Rifleman 4xx4 and Scout 4x11 for me. Gives me a total of 105 speed with Carbines and 120 with rifles, and something like 270 Accuracy with Carbines and 290 with rifles. I get around 150 melee, 170 ranged in defenses, and have Duelist Stance from BH to add to that. Special wise, I have a pair of KDs, two nice damage specials(Adv. Critical and Improved Legshot) and, if I fancy hanging back more during group engagments I can use Improved Snipershot.

What's scary is Im more effective with rifles using this template than I was using MR/MBH/MM.
