I was a master bh/carbiner for a long time, and turn master bh/master carbineer after skill point reduction. In general combat against mid-low lvl mobs i found sprayshot more effective than fs2(or any other special), at stacking status effects.
I mostly hunted in endor, mauraders, arachanes, ewoks, and other random mobs there. In dathomir night sisters (low lvl ones like rangers/outcast and some sentinels).
I quit carbineer 2-3 weeks ago, so might have been a change.
But i encourage futher testing. Because in my exp spray shot was more effective than fs2

Spray shot is def more effective than FAS2. Does more damage as well. Is it worth the points JUST for this special? NO.
Crippling Shot at the speed cap with a good laser carbine vs an armorless jedi with no ranged mitigation is devestating. But once they get to Saber Block 85, its all over. Just forget it. You could have carbine accuracy +4,579 and it won't matter. Only 15% of your shots will go through, period.

Hope you arent implying that I am Iebas onlymaestro...Im not going to resort to any of the kowtowing to get forum approval for the TK Corre position. Ill just let my words speak for me. And when TH or his new assistant finally come around to assign new Correspondents I hope they make the right choice.

First off gratz Nova on MBH!
Secondly... sprayshot is for Pvp not for Pve man. Most BH specials are geared towards 1 on 1 battles. Against Janta's just FAA2.. Don't even bother KD'ing them as it'll just slow down the process of Kite Killing the whole group.
With FAA2 spam you can kill the whole village in about 1.8 minutes (my record).
As for sprayshot not landing states. It always lands at least one state for me during even it's worse performance.
It is a far more reliable state shot than any carbineer skill. However, for PVE MBH is pretty much useless... well cept for the LLC cone2 which is pretty righteous against Lightning Vul mobs.
p.s. Damage Mod on sprayshot is 6.5

Everyone keeps telling me to use FAA on the jantas. Well, duh, if your goal is to kill them. If your goal is to test the effectiveness of a special, you use that special. Do you understand that testing is testing and not killing as efficiently as possible?

Thanks for the info, it spares me some guilt I felt over not Mastering Bounty Hunter. For those intimate one on one battles, FireKD is more than adequate to the task of putting a single target down. ChargeShot1 is a great second string if the FireKD fails.
