So, with the new reduction in BH skill points, I leveled to Master BH to letthose BH carbine skillscompliment my Master Carbineer. I was very eager to try sprayshot...and...drumroll...omg it is NOT worth the points. I was testing on Mokks/Jantas on Dantooine and it was taking 3-4 tries in order to land all 3 states. I would estimate that fullautosingle2 would take just the same number of applications to get those states to stick.
I am going to do some further testing, but right now I am very disappointed with sprayshot.

Yeah, I'm discovering with Jantas and such to skip the foreplay and just drop the SOBs ASAP.

Hmm been a while since I was a bh. But I would keep testing it, It was the only good thing I could remember from being a master BH. Course I have never mastered Carbineer, so maybe you guys have something simillar? I used to hit all 3 on marks and NPCs like the force type on dant, sometimes took 2 or 3 to stick, but once it did it was easy to kill them.

LOL welcome to the great profession of Broken Hunter. Like you I am a master BH and a master Carbineer. Unlike you Im not a correspondant.
Though I tell you this, Spray shot is going to become a good friend of yours. Trust me. Why you might ask? Because you got to use something from the BH tree.
I get the impression that it lands the three states more often.
Its good against a single target. so if your being selective its helpful.
PLease don't ruin the illusions that us broken Hunters have a good attack.

Before i dropped MBH, i completed about 35 jedi missions, all with mcarb/mbh.
In my experience, vs players(jedi specifically), sprayshot drops all 3 shots on them far more often than fas2, and did better damage.
That being said, its still not worth mastering BH for. Confusion shot does dizzy and stun pretty well, and blind really isn't that useful for us(lol, its not like they are gonna miss us, even blinded, with the crappy bh/carb defenses).
A jedi killer that wants to just fight jedi with carbineswould be best off going bh 4400, carbineer 3400, then putting the rest in whatever other fun stuff they want to crap in their character(defenses, medic, etc). This gets you capped speed, awesome accuracy, and all the kickass single target shots from bh and carbineer(minus sprayshot ofc)

Hush! I Like my Sprayshot!!!
just tried it on a jedi last night, and was doing 40-90 points of damage on the ones not blocked or dodged....
It -did- lay the states on him first shot, and seems on 80% of the stuff I use it on to lay those states....
I also like it for taking out AT-ST and Turrets...
but then I haven't made it to master carbineer to see what your other specials are...

This makes me think that someone knowledgeable needs to write a jeedai survival guide for ranged professions. It's stikes me as being odd that to really be effective as a ranged fighter you need novice brawler to land intimidate to really hope to kill one of those buggers.
Nova, have you tried any jeedai missions with theis template yet? How did you do and what works best?
