"I dont understand why the made elite carbines are so sucky."
Its bugged along with most of the heavy weapons and everything else in the game. E11s and DH17s are best right now. Slice 'em and put in a nice powerup and you can get over 200 max damage withclose to2.0 speed.

My elite carbine is much better than my E11 carbine...94-162 damage and 2.6 speed, much like a pistol yet stronger base damage...so I'm sticking with the elite carbine from here on out.

does anyone have one with good stats? generally i find them to be rather slow, mediocre damage and high (er than normal) ham costs....does anyone have a good one (or a good vendor if your on ahazi)?

I just bought a non-krayt elite,,,,damage sliced with 198min-398max,,,around 60-75-60 ham( harsh),,,,3.9 speed,,,havent used it too much but it its about as good as you get for a non-krayt. I don't bother using it unless im buffed,,,
3.9 is pretty dang slow tho

I got lucky and found one on a old vendor for 6 k with a speed of 2.9 and good damage

I made an Elite carbine, got it sliced for speed, down to 2.8.
Damage was about 174 max.
This was to be my 'non-buffed' weapon.
For kicks, I made an E11. About 150 max damage. 2.8 spd. ***unsliced***
Um....... I think I'm ditching the Elite and getting the E11 sliced.......

Yeah, I never really used Elite as a Carbineer, I alwaysed used E11's. They have comparable damage, but are usually way faster. If you have the bounty carbs tree, or are maxed on speed attachments the Elite would probably be a better choice.

I have a stocked/scope Elite with much better damage than my E11, DXR6 or Laser, not too mention a +70 accuracy. Really depends on resources and weaponsmiths for your server.
But with the PSG craze it's time to replace it with a good stocked/scoped DXR6

Personal Shield Generator. Made by Armoursmiths, it generates additonal Resistances to damage, but doesn't stop Acid at all.

personal sheild generator. it is worn like a belt and has about 46% stun resistance (which is the main thing because most armor is vulnerable to stun). Also energy, kinetic, blast (?) I think are also resisted my them.

Elite's need a serious buff...
Why is it that it's the ol laser carbine everytime... that comes out on top.

2.6 speed, 152-233 damage.
With a +31% speed, +15% min damage powerup, that's 1.8 speed, 175-233
