i find with npc knockdowns - chargeshot1 seems to work better for me

if i want to knock down player down - which is best in pvp? underhand or fire kd

for me if the knockdown works i win one on one if it doesnt i have to kite for a while until i get a knockdown

even though it's part of he BH profession it's still a carbine skill so it's valid. so because i have BH carbines 4 and master carbineer i PvP as a BH?

plus the guy is an enforcer

if the original poster didnt say he was the enforcer tree then i dont think i would have posted - currently we all know as carbs that its very limited pvplifewithout the bh carbs treeall the melee stackers, dots and jedi pvp'n these days - i would not pvp at all without the bh carb tree

TAfirehawkwhat pvp tactics would u use? sorry if u have already questioned that question in the previous posts of this thread

Well it's just that many of us don't have FireKD, UnderhandShot, ConfusionShot or SprayShot..

.. so tactics/moves would imply the use of WildShot, FullAutSingle/Area2 and ActionShot2 and ChargeShot1/2 instead

Not a big problem, though, BH/Carbineers are still Carbineers.. and essentially, regardless of your template, a Carbineer's role is to inflict states and dizzy/KD their opponent.

sadly i cant pvp with just carb theres no point - the game aint based on teamwork - without the specials and speed of the enforcer tree i find it impossible and a waste of a buff

I see some of the new folks aren't used to me giving BH's a hard time

The life of a Carbineer, which I am charged to represent, is sooooo much different than that of a BH/Carbineer I must ALWAYS note the difference. Of course now with the Skill Point reduction for BH it is much more common for a Carbineer to pickup BH 0400.....but to me a Carbineer should be viable as a combat prof all by itself, which is my #1 goal in the Combat Upgrade/Revamp/Balance.

I do enjoy the input from BH's and consider it valuable, but a distinction must be drawn to what is a BH and what is a Carbineer...a Carbineer should not be required to go BH 0400 just to survive against a durni.

As far as a Carbineer being viable in PvP without BH, well I am in the same boat as Addy. We are both Carbineer Defense Stackers and quite frankly the majority of the time we will beat a BH/Carbineer in a duel. Carbineer Specials can do everything the BH Carbine Specials can do, sometimes it takes more shots but it can be done.

the orginal poster said he had the enforcer tree

see every1 later until the combat revamp(unless they screw it up again)-i'd rather go to the bh forums and prolly will stay there

i guess it all depends on what role you like to play in PvP. the majority of the people like to be able to kill people by themsevles which isn't my case. i see myself as support so acc is key for me since i want to land states and dots and going up against people with lots of ranged defense was rough without BH mods. i also like bomb droids that help me damage jedi. one thing i've realized is 1 temaplte doesn't rule all. people may say rifleman/CM s the best PvPtemp but that's probably because there aren't a whole lot of carbineers around to KD them and make them useless. i built myself around those i PvP with so BH helps me out greatly since i stay behind the lines.

darn what's with all the 1 stars on this post?

I'm a commando/rifleman, but i'm going to chime in here because I love having carbineers at my side....

In our guilds PvP tactics, its easy, Rifleman and carbineers altertate in a line, prone. mellee fighters and cm's behind them. carbineers pam dizzy/stun/kd shots, rifleman spam SS2 or flurry shot2 (if not speed capped). CM's toss AOE Health and action poisons disease. if the enemy gets close, (rare) melee fighters pick them up) by this time they are almost dead. if we have any commandoes beside me, they are spamming flamecone 2 if someone gets in range (16m) Bottom line is, same with rifleman, you will have a hard time standing toe to toe alone, your streangh lies in grpups that complement you. in your case proffesions that have a high DPS. basically, carbineers, in my experience, prepp the enemy for a gruesome death. commandoes are at the othr end of the extreme, with a flamethrower, i have incapped people in 2 hits, good luck hitting them twice in a row if they aren't intimidated/stunned.
