I would expect Inflation, being on Lowca we have a low population rate, low economy, And basically everything in a nutshell is hell. But we Manage, I roll in the dough by Duty missions, hunting Tier 4 ships in my ultra cool X-wing. Great loot sells by Chassis Dealer. Yet most of my money goes into Guild/City hall Mait. So Not much of my money goes into Circulation. Thats the problem. LOWER THE MAIT RATES DARNIT!

Theres this commercial on late night T.V for this thing about a thing you attache to a garden hose to water your hard to reach plants. WHO THE HECK WOULD MAKE THEIR PLANTS HARD TO REACH.. Thats very mean. I know you need water, but i'm going to make you hard to reach. I will throw water at you! Hopefully they'll invent a product before you shrivel and die! Think like a cactus!

So you have an economy where there are hundreds of billions of credits floating around, and it is growing more and more every day.

So to get the big bucks you just get on the high end-loot bandwagon and become part of theexchange process.

Uh no, if the charts are still accurate from the last time this was assessed and shown publicly, more credits leave the economy than enter it.

not all flower beds are built to be easily accessible. In fact making your garden beds easily accessible usually means less ground to plant in or a less "natural" looking garden.

Hey, I made 1 mil from mission terminals.

Next step is to buy a barc speeder and resell it fore 3 mil

If not, I can remain homeless, guildless, friendless, armorless, and wifeless and keep farming credits from mission terminals until the day I drop dead or reach CL 80 again.... which ever comes first.

I'm wondering where he got his stats saying more is coming in, in the first place. Yeah, i seen the charts and also read the devs keep a heavy eye on it too. Expecially for those who have a bad habit of wanting to cheat and create illeage credits. ie: counterfiting.

one great way of making money i found was to search the bazar for rareitems that noobs had put on not realising there value, for instance i bought a poster for 6k then sold it for 4mill, also found a lot of CA's and AA's which if you know enough people its very easy to sell them on but after the CU this seemed to dry up so i decided to go after high end loot which i did for a while but then spots became increasingly more camped meaning you needed a fully macroed group to stay there for hours upon hours i did it for a while but then thought this isnt fun atall i got 1 jedi ca for hours of bordam so i then did all the new quests and sold some of them weapons but now i have absolutely nothing to do for money i have a nicely kitted out guild hall and dont particulaly wont to start selling of this good stuff as i am most likely never to see it again judging by the raeness of some of it so basically atm i have no income apart from the odd 100k doing jobs for guild mates so any idea on how to make money now would be of great help i have an uber template and plenty of mates so i can do pretty much any combat related thing

Why has no one mentioned theTattooinian credit tree that is awarded during stage 5 of the vilage? Mine is doing rather well I suppose. I can harvest about 20-25 mill per week from it if I am dilligent, use Lokian port wine and eat creditian suprise first.

Seriously though; in regards to the question about the way people are able to buy multiple high end items now. you need to realize that most of those people do(did) 2 things.

1)They have 2 accounts or more. They are mostly your high end crafters that sell huge amounts of crafted goods and have a highly established business that can sell due to name alone. You know the ones I am talking about on your server. They are they are the ones that sell the weapons, food, armor or whatever that are easily recognized as the "best" on your server. This is an elite group. They out sell the average crafter about 20 to 1. (pulled that out of my head but am using my experience as a guide)

2) They are the ones that ran 30k solo group missions for hours on end back in the day. This was an issue that went on forever and an elite profession could knock out a mill+ per hour on a good night. That is where alot of the money in the economy came from.

Now with those 2 methods in mind and the use of multiple accounts at play consider it this way. Earl is a Swords/Doc. He runs Janta missions for 6 hours. Just made 6 mill. Now while he is doing this he has Fred his WS account selling weps for (insert your servers top number here) for a profit of (insert here). Now this is only one game day. This went on for months. Now they have nerfed the group solo missions and Earl has made jedi and is no longer getting the mill per hour but Fred is still selling his weapons. He is continuing to make money and Earl will get the uber drops for sale.

Now how do they keep buying all the high end stuff that they do? What you have failed to realize is that Earl and Fred when combined had not millions but HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of credits. Yes I said HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of credits. I know this for a fact (I am not one of these but I know some that are) and I am on Shadowfire which has a smaller player base so you can imagine the amounts that are on larger servers. I have seen an actual screenshot (might have been a fake but looked real) where a player was showing his wealth and his bank and inventory were both maxed. I can not get in game right now but I think that would be 2 credits shy of 2 BILLION(999,999,999). I hope this explains why a certain few people are able to continue to buy high end loot.

I did not mention the "other" way that money is made but it can be bought on E-bay but that is coming from one of the players mentioned above.

I think this answers the original question.

So SWG was never meant to have this many credits, but too many people beat the system, got tons of accounts and started maxing out credits, making it suck for the rest of us.

Thats the nature of the beast, thats where we are and we cant do anything about it... unless you become one of them, but I cant become one of them. Iwould never be allowed to buy 2 accounts (much less 6) I am hardly allowed to have this one. I am a kid.

There are many ways of gaining creds in SWG, naturally some are easier than others, and naturally it also depends on your likings what you think is easy and what is not.

Some examples:

1. sell resources
2. fight in space (and sell space loot)
3. do combat missions on ground (and sell loot)
4. sell faction points
5. become a crafter and sell your goods

1. one of the easierst for someone who is willing to invest some hours each week in it. If you want to do it on a larger scale you will need not only artisan (surveying) but also merhant for your own shop. You will have to start with personal harvesters, but you should be able to go on with mediums and in the end heavies. To establish a well going shop you will need some months after starting to gather resources. Every resource will sell regardless of quality it the price is low enough. If you aim for the highest quality and regularly consult for example swgcraft.com, then you will make even more creds
2. easy done. Credits in space are easily earned, and additionally you can sell your loot. If you find a SW who is willing to pay you for it, you will earn more than by selling to the npc. If you master your pilot skill and start collecting asteroid resources you will be rich vry fast, they sell for 100 cpu.
3. Here you can again combine earning credits by fighting (and training your skills) with the chance to find nice loot items that will sell nicely in the trade forum. If you want to make more creds always use the forum for your sales. Things tend to sell higher there than in game.
4. This is best done together with (2). When completing a pilot and learning a new (and thereby dropping the old) you gain doule exp for the next pilot career. After completing the next you again get a multiplier to x4 and so on. This also counts for FP. Thats why some people can sell tons of them.
5. The most difficult and the most rewarding way since you build something of lasting value (my opinion of course). You have to invest tons of time to have a well going shop. You will hardly do something else in the game if you decide to get all your creds this way.

Each aproach is good for different play styles. Do whatever you like and invest some passion

You people do realize that people used to actually run group missions before the solo group thing became so popular, right? When I started, the Kunga missions were the way to go. After that got nerfed, it was Rancor missions. People act like there was some upsurgence of wealth when people started solo grouping. There were rich people before there was much solo grouping and more important there was wealth to the scale of the time when solo grouping was popular.

Buy low sell high. Plenty of stuff on peoples vendors and bazaar that u can buy for pennies and sell for millions. It took me 6 months of playing to have a million credits in the bank. I made my initial money dropping harvesters down and selling the resources on bazaar.I then became an architect and made amillions like that. Atm i have about 4 million though. I can make anywhere from 50k-10million in a day right now selling weapons. I can buy a set of 6 tissues for 10-15million like i did today and sell the guns made with em for 6mil+ a piece. I have run missions for money maybe 30-40 times in the past year and a half. That was when i could make a mil in 3 hours if i really needed it. Now I sell loot like crystals, pearls and other things occasionally, but most of my money comes from WS. Generally I make back what I spend within a week, unless I go crazy and spend 50mil+. Was at about 85 mil before all the +25 tapes and AA's started dropping, and I dont have a jedi and am not a big loot farmer generally so I paid for em.
