I'm surprised no one has mentioned real estate. I've made a few credits selling structures in prime locations.

I've turned a few deals and have something big in the works actually.

The base of my organization is my big party Groovefest, but I have also made a lot of money doing other people's weddings and birthdays. I made a few million designing an entertainment district for a city (it didn't get built, interguild politics).

One of the most unique ways I make money is by renting out my in-game email list. I have a list of 5,5000+ in-game names that is updated every 3 months. For 5Mcr, I send out an email to the entire list. I do it infrequently enough (no more than one a month) that I don't feel too bad about it being spam.

Neat idea!

First the Nazis came for the Communists, I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. After that they came for the Trade Unionists, I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. And then they came for me, but there was no one left to speak.

I want to set up a business selling 'rp experiences' to individuals and groups.
For example - "Day in the Life of a Moisture Farmer", with costumes, appropriate decor, activities/work, fixing vaporators, camping out, etc etc.

No idea if it would get off the ground, but even if I only ran one or two experiences, I think I'd be happy with that.

Books/Datapads, Photography and Libraries.|Game-Bases - Craftable Deathmatch etc.
Pazaak - Make and Play In-Game.|Solace Outpost - Story Arc Example.
Particle Emitters - Bubbles, Smoke and Sparks.|Sitting Vendors - Cosmetic Mini-Proposal.

Wouldn't mind formin a gank-Squad for hire.. Any corbantis takers?

We could just get a medium percentage of the bounties. Just Gmail the squad for an appointment..Ready when you are (can be the slogan?) We would even stalk and examine the target before the kill. Distract the targets own body guards to quicken the kill.

would need a ranger or two (they can track players right? if not then they might not be needed)

a few master CH with rancors or something else distracting.

riflemen (2 should work)...head shot would help bunches

TKA masters (2 should be fine)...for the knockdown and other kung-fu stuff

Heavy weapon peeps - to destroy the targets vehicle...and to wait in the bushes to jump the targets bodyguards.

1 combat medic for the area heal/poison thing

1 doc on standby to rez the falled.

dunno...might not see a profit at first-but it would seem like fun.Send me a Gmail if interested. In game's name is below (sa-as)

That's evil.

I think it's only slightly evil. If I sent out tons of spam on a weekly basis, that'd be totally evil. As it is, one message a month (if that), is just a little evil.

Effective as hell though. When we do small events or parties, we can guarentee at least 40 people showing up just from the email list. With a small event, 40 extra people showing up makes a big difference.

You better have an opt-out policy.

Most people who have a problem with it just ask me to take them off the list. It hasn't been a problem as of yet because I don't abuse it.

It's alright. I think my biggest concern is that the idea might fall into the wrong hands if it spreads.
