Grow up little child and deal. Oh wait, you said people's interpretation of the number is up to them, not a review of the child-like forum spamming whiner who submitted the first post. Oh well. Who cares about the numbers. I look *good* as a fencer with those nice fencer moves.
My sympathies to all the long-term and serious Fencers who are having to put up with people like this because their Profession is part of the "Uber PvP Template Of The Month". Take heart in the fact that they'll leave for somewhere else soon.
It's not about absolute balance between every single class, it's about drawing as much public attention as possibletothe fact that BHs were shat on from a great height when these defensive changes were brought in. It's about at least some SEMBLANCE balance between the combat classes. BHs are meant to be mainly offensive, yes. The trouble is our accuracies didn't go up when everyone's defences did, leaving us high and dry.Frankly, we couldn't hit the side of a barn if we were inside it with the doors closed! What's the point in an offensive Profession when you're lucky to land a single hit before you're lying on the deck watching someone walk over to your body forthe DB (whether you caught them with their pants down or not)?

Vyn_Drayko you shoulda been around months ago when this was a heated debate. Master SWG Dev Holocron himself regards CH as a non-combat profession.
IN responce to the post further above askign about left over skill points, a MBH requires exactly 217 skill points leaving exact 33 remaining. I know this pefectly because I, as a MBH, have 0 points left over with exactly 33 going to medic. In responce to the directly above post, I agree that every proffesion has its strengths and weaknesses, however, this has balance is not...in balance. It would stand to reason, looking at the numbers i posted, that since the MBH's have the fewest defense availiable, we would have the MOST POWERFUL attacks....thing is..we have some of the weakest. Due to the above defenses everyone else have, our status attaks which comprise 60 percent of our abilites stick roughly 10 percent of the time. The exact numbers and stats are stickied to the top of our forum if you want to look. Ask any MBH and you will be told this: PvE is simple on 1 on 1, where as PvP 1 on 1 is near impossible against most characters, mainly due to the fact that our specials either a) miss due to dodge or b) have no effect due to defense mods. However, the assault issues are not the purpose of this post and are to be set aside. I am working to get responces from every combat profesion as to what changes THEY would make to the BH defense mods to bring them more inline with the defense mods bassicly every other proffesion has. It would be appreciated that any comments past this include the exact changes you would make and your reasons. Everything, no matter what the opinion, is useful as long as it is given in an earnest effort to help. I want to thank the Commandos, becasue in truth our 2 professions have been the closest related to each other the whole time of all proffesions, and we've all suffered neglection of some sort from the devs. This thread is the attempt to fix an aspect of that neglect. It might not fix an aspect everyone wants fixed..but there is nothign like that. I just hope that we canfix SOMETHING in this game. THank you and post away.

is it just me are are is your math way off?
and isnt BH a hybrid? as in you get all the boneces of3 CLASSES?
so when figuring out BH +s' wouldnt you have to add all down the line?
i mean honestly...i cant think of an RPG that if there was a "hrybrid" class that the bonneces in that class were NOT as comprehencive of the two that came before it....the perk of a hybrid class is the "extra" skills given to that class ...cupoled with the two that come before it.
i realy dont think BH need that mutch attition....dont you think you have enough?
In responce to Maddog, I believe his first language is not english as he has consitantly written like that in everything. Now, I know this post is rather odd to be seen in the jedi forum, but here is the reason. This issue pertaining to the difference in defensive abilities between bassicly every combat prof and BH, while not game breaking, is seen as important to some, and I have decided to take the BIG step of bringing it forward to the various comunnities in teh SWG and getting a complete opinion on any changes to be made. It would be awsome to start a precedent of having people work together on fixing individualproffesion issues community wide, instead of each proffesion fighting for favors as it has been. This thread is here so that people can post theiropinions on changes that could be made to the BH defenses tobring them inline with the rest of the proffesions.The jedi community is just as important asany other proffession and I want your views as well. Any constructive opinion on a change to be made it your reasoning behind it is requested. Everything will be considered when it is compiled for a report to the devs. I really hope and encourage everyone to take a stab at this, no matter how much thought you give it. Lets show the devs that the entire SWG community can work together at something, so that in the furture we can do it again for otehr profesion issues, including the jedi. This issue of BH defense is not game breaking, it isnt proffesion killing to the BH's though it is seen as important. However everything is like that. This is one step to turning this game into soemthing awsome. I cant wait to see what gets put forward. GL to you all in everything you do.

Ranged - 20 more total 44
Melee - 20 more total 22
Intimidate - 40
KD - 25
Blind - 20
Stun -20
Dizzy - 20
Posture Change - 20
Is close to average of all stats combined of other ranged with the exception of intimidate, where a bounty hunter should shine

Depressing, us swordsmen have the LOWEST melee defense in the melee category.
