Hi everyone. I was wondering if the bonuses and the second level versions of intimidate warcry and berserk make it worthwhile to master brawler. I'm going for TKA but this could apply to all the other melee professions. Thank you in advance.

No.. Master Brawler sucks hardcore

Warcry2 and Intimdate2 fail more than the first, and don't last but 1s each

It sucks so so bad

/sarcasm off

Seriously though

Warcry 1 = 10s
Warcry 2 = 20s

That alone should say plenty.

I'm a swordsman mainly, so for me I went Master Brawler because I needed a sword knockdown(Lunge2 = 15m knockdown)

Berserk? No

Intimidation? Yes, definitely.

Warcry? Yes, definitely. Doubles the duration of the stun.

It's funny, master brawler is probably the best master box in the entire game with all the bonuses and abilities it gives a player, but there are 75 master marksmen out there for every 1 master brawler.

If you want a well rounded character, suitable for PvE and PvP, master brawler is not the way to go. You are wiser to spend points in ranged skills. If you are mainly interested in fighting PvE and really want to be a great brawler, you should definitely get master brawler.

OR if you're a Fencer/Swordsman, you need Master Brawler.. Otherwise you have no knockdown

Lunge 2s = 15m range Knockdowns

Master Brawler is probably one of the coolest titles

You get much more respect if you have Master Brawler over your head than if it says Novice TKA even though the TKA is probably stronger

I agree that Master Brawler is one of the best boxes in the game but if you're only TKA then it is an extra 12 boxes of useless (to you) combat skills and a lot of fighting to get there

If you want to be the ultimate solo fighting machine then TKA/Doctor is the way to go

If you want to be the front line for a guild or a group then Master Brawler plus whichever line appeals to you is very potent - let the others buff you and heal you

Our de-buffs (Intimidate and Warcry) can slow down the most fearsome opponent

I'll personally enjoy haveing both master brawler and master tka...only a couple more boxes to go in tk and I'll have it. So far I am doing very well, I very little trouble soloing or working in a group. infact, as long as I have someone to heal me not much stands a chance against me, I have a few other skills that I'll keep to myself because they work VERY well for my toughness and balance and what have you but people will figure it out soon enough

Fear...Fear attracts the fearful. The strong, the weak, the innocent, the corrupt. Fear...Fear is my ally.....

Let's stop pointing fingers and just fix the problem.

Good to know getting Master Brawler has more value for me than just the Role Play effect. I've always aimed for Master Brawler and Teras Kasi Master as I'm a big fan of Martial Arts.

What's funny about what Uncarved said is that I was 2/4/4/4 BH and dropped it for master brawler.... it's a sick world like that.

If I had something really clever to say it would be in my signiture instead of this.

I personally Love Master Brawler. It compliments any melee class and makes it complete. The sad thing is it takess 77 skill points but it is defintely a really useful thing to have. I think it is often overlooked and underappreciated by those who know nothing about it.
