Thread: Master Brawler
To get to teras kasi, all you need is to master unarmed. You can skip the master brawler boxif you wish. That's why I elected to do for now since I have no intent to use the other skills. Maybe I'll revisit them later if I get bored with unarmed teras kasi.
The master brawler box not only requires you to master the four silos under it, but you also need to rack up 600+ apprentice points teaching other people the skills. Not worth it in my opinion.

Question: I have read that berserk 2 more or less never fails, and I also understand that it lasts 4 times as long as Berserk 1 (roughly). What I want to know, though, is does it have any extra damage modifieres over berserk 1?
I am contemplating doing master brawler, but I doubt I'll bother if the damage isn't a bit better out of it. I havent had that much trouble using berserk 1 as it is...
Actually, I'm trying to decide why I should even bother with master brawler (seriously) because I'll never use 3/4 the tree after I finish it.

Master Brawler ey? Nice. Seeing as you are a master of the trade where is the best place and what should I kill the most of to get the maximum XP? I am attempting to become a master brawler as well but first and foremost a master of polearm.

There really isnt a best place for brawler xp the best thing or way i did it was myself and a doctor and we attacked bigger things he drew i attacked and they then attacked me while he healed most of my early xp received this way then after expert it was womp rats, nuna, flewt, hermit spiders.
Beserk from what I've experienced only last longer no extra dmg it doesnt fail 1 in every 50, but i will double check on that later today when i play.
If it gives 100 or better and is easy to kill attack thenest go beserk and then attack 1 of the animals u will kill all of them most likely, and just let them keep spawning til the nest is empty u can get 4-5 hundred gnorts and 2-3 thousand for nuna, spiders seem to spawn more so u usually get a lot more. There is a place where night spiders spawn constantly on naboo, somedays its slow and somedays fast I will post a waypoint later. Not really any particular spot other than that just basic grind xp
As a Master Brawler, using Berserk2, Do you do more damage / Attack Faster? So far what i have heard from you guys is it last longer, wll big deal, does it Do more damage / Make you attack Faster? =)

Not currently, master brawler is sorta like squad leader and droid engineer; you hope one day it will get better and until then you take it in the ass time and again.
Thanks for your uninformed opinion.. but have you used intimidate2? If you have, you would know Master Brawler is well worth it, simply because it last anywhere from 4-6minutes depending on the target, and is a life saver in PvP. Its rather funny to watch some guy with a gun try to kite you doing 30-60 damage with specials.. LOL. Lunge2 isnt bad, gives you a further range knockdown which helps for stuffon the run. The +5 to unarmed speed is nice aswell. warcry2 is the exact same as 1 but has a cone effect, and ive yet to see it work. And never use berserk2 unless you got tank pets, because it lasts for 3minutes and you will take a massive beating with it on.
But then again, its only worth getting if you got the points to spare.

i had master brawler, surrendered it today.
i miss intimidate 2 *cry*
berserk 2 is trash, i just kept berserk 1 loaded.
the ranged KD in theory is cool, but i never loaded it, i much more prefer lunge1 + kd2 combo any day over just being able to kd from range.
i like the aspect of them not being KD'd at a distance wasting my potiential huge unarmed hit 3 hits. so i never used lunge 2.
i don't notice any diferance from the loss of the 5 toughness or the 5 speed or acuracy. but what i do notice is the loss of that long duration intimidate.
gotta weigh it out. Master CH or master comando, or being able to intimidate longer.....i wish i had enough points for it hehe but even if i did im sure it could be spent better elsewere.
