I made Master Brawler Last night and I am most impressed. Things actually work! Not like Rifleman. I love 1handed dizzy and then the knockdown. Works great against Imps and some of those loud mouth pests out there on Briathat always want to duel.

Woooooohoooo!!!

Reinforced Combat Staff is a nice weapon to use in the lower tree's. Once you get the 3rd box, get a Long Vibro Axe. Get it sliced by a Master Smuggler and hope for speed. If you are on Intrepid I can tell you where to go for an excellent one.

Great skills in this one, very PvE and PvP effective (particularly intim2 and warcry2, not to mention you can make the easy transition to 2h, 1h, UA, or pike )

For those of you who have Master Brawler. Could you please tell me if lunge 2, which you guys say is a KD attack, has a 30 sec timer?

Seeing as how lunge 2 is an updated version of lunge (which shares the 30 sec timer with regular kd) I think it's safe to say that lunge 2 also has the 30 second timer.

Ummm didn't they put the timer down to 5 seconds in the last patch? I can usually pull off the first knockdown and then never again on the target.

Lunge 2 hasn't worked all that well for me...

In PvP I have tested it out against a Teras Kasi Master (+20 Def. vs. KD), and it failed3 times, and a Bladesmaster (+40 Def. vs. KD), and it worked once, and failed 4 times.

Against animals on Dantooine and against Kungas, Lunge 2 seems to rarely succeed. In fact,I have found that I get a much higher success rate with Unarmed KD 1 or Polearm Sweep 1.

Has anybody else noticed similar patterns, or does anybody know the specifics as to how the different Knockdowns compare?

KDis useless against creatures.Lunge2 works great against NPCs though.
