Ok, I am Unarmed 4, going for Novice TK. I have about 8k credits to my name, but need it for my harvesters. I have some speed sliced VKs already (1.7 i think) and 75% ubese armor, and helmet. I can use Stim Bs, but it takes away from my mind very quickly. I cant kill anything solo (no pets or group) better than womp rats. My HAM is really low, and dont have money for buffs. I'm also a CH, and thats how i kill stuff is by using my crystal snake with 8k HAM.


I dont know what to do! I've been running imp missions a lot, and getting FP, 2k credits, and a little xp per mission.


125,000 exp is a long way to go. Including that i need to work on Medic too. (Not so much CH, because i'm thinking of dropping it after getting TKM)


I really need help! I get incapped 1/4 through a mission, and sometimes die. I have a lot of PCP and muon gold, but the side effects are horrendous. And i can only use 1 spice at a time. So if i use muon gold, i lose health and action mad fast. (i lose action fast anyway) And if i use PCP, my mind goes down the drain.


Also, what is a good level for my health, action, and mind and all the other stats to be at? I find myself migrating the stats every day.

If you group with pets when you take the mission, you'll probably get one too difficult to complete. You should be able to kill whatever you can get a mission for at Unarmed 4,I never had any problems. If you're not buffed, you should try to avoid using unarmed specials except berserk. It will increase your damage output considerably.

Well if you do the missions that you can get on your own, you'll be able to actually finish them. You'll complete much more per time spent than higher level missions where you get incapped.

Thanks MoC. I'll see if doing more, easier missions helps me.


Also, i've noticed that doing more damage, gives me more exp, is this true, or am i just fooling myself? (For example, if i kill a mob on my own, rather than with my pet, will i get more exp?)

Yes, currently xp earned is based solely on the damage you do to the mob, plus a small % bonus if you're in a group. Many reccomend that if you can solo what you're hunting you group with a droid and leave it in town while you run missions for the increased xp.

what do people here consider 'slow going' on getting unarmed xp?


I decided to try out brawler the other day and after about4-5 hours of play time I am at 3-1-2-2 already. Is that slow? This is just by running around killing the noob mobs on tatooine.

It is only really slow once you go from unarmed 3 to unarmed 4, and unarmed 4 to Teras Kasi Novice. An unarmed brawler is very easily outdamaged by all of the armed brawlers, and many of their weapons are faster to start with than fists alone.

OK I have another question now - last night I was playing and went to buy some vibro knucklers but it says I am not certified, I looked on the skill tree and it says you don't get certified for those until tera kasa novice - Is that really the case? If so why is it mentioned in this faq to go out and get some for brawler?

If you check the first post you'll see that it is because you still benefit from the Speed of the vibroknucklers. Coupled with /berserk and the damage bonus you get in the unarmed tree, the extra speed outwieghs the damage penalty.

i like the second macro best but it doesnt seem to shoot once for me it equips the gun then it equips the knucklers and says i dotn have the range it never shoots with the gun


can anybosy help me please?

Hmm, I'd say people are once again overlooking Rori.



Get buffed if you need to, or have medic skills/brandy/muon and the like.


I got Unarmed 4 in one day, and did TKN the next.


How? Armor, Medic (buffs are a good substitute), Rori!


From the rebel outpost (and im sure any other) you can get Shallow Torton missions ( i think they are shallow..) They are great! You get about 1k xp off of each torton, 6 spawn per lair, then an additional 2-3k per lair. Voila Two lairs and your unarmed 3. 8-9 Lairs more and your unarmed 4.


They ARE slower then most of the other creatures listed here, but they are still pretty easy.


(Btw, You may need a pet/droid/friend grouped with you to get them.)

Got to say I agree with Renown.
Get buffed and go to Rori to pick up Torton missions. If you can pull Shallow Torton they pay 6k credits per mission.

I have levelled a lot of combat xp on Rori. It's also very quiet so no lag

personally ive always found narglatch youngling missions the best for doing unarmed 4....


dont need buffs, armour or vks for em, gives about 1200 or so xp per missionan they go for 900 creds each. Helps to make a bit of chsh early on an get xp easily. Do 70 an youll have done unarmed 4 (note that means only 35 trips to town).....


doesnt take that long either
