Thread: Unarmed leveling for a REAL newbie
Deity--
First, what server are you on?
Second, try to find a good PA and join it! Just head to Anchorhead on Tatooine if you're a Rebel (Bestine if you're an Imp), and talk to players. Ask them about their PA, or if they have a city and on what planet.
I made a new character a few days ago and am trying for Master Brawler (on Tarquinas server). I started out in Mos Eisley, did a searchf or all professions, found one named Rogue Squadron. Talked to a few of their members, ran a mission to get credits for a shuttle ride there, and been there since.
The player city, if it's a good one, will let you run missions out of it, you'll have an easy time getting into a group or forming a group because any good PA wants to help you, and a lot of the time they'll hook you up with either discounts or free things to get you going.
I'm already 3-3-3-3 in Brawler thanks to being in a PA. It'll make a big difference, trust me.
Hello i play Darien on the kettemoor server look me up some time........I'm also going the ua route for tka but i reached ua 3 in one day on dantoine but i had help from my guild...Which by the way is always recruiting rebels...but i have been working on ua 4 for about a week now and have gotten half way there no an easy task as im aware you know by now... i got the vks also and i havent seen any difference in damage or exp , i have an ubesse jacket love it it has saved me more than once from a picket or hurton howler but the trick is to party with high skilled players especially medics and do destroy missions a lesser plains bols lair is worth nearly 2 and a half thousand exp if you destroy it alone while your party watches
Deity_me,
Unfortunatelymost posts are directed to people who may be new to brawling and unarmed combat but they are seasoned or veteran players and they have the resources and knowledge that can help them "grind" through the brawler profession fast. Most of those posts are directed to "holo grinders"; powergames who wish to unlock their force sensitive slot as soon as possible.
Don't try to "grind" through the profession fast or you will get bored pretty quick and that is not a thing you want to happen. Just take your time till you figure out how weapons and armor work, what types of protection or vulnerabilities there are, which creatures attack in packs etc etc.
There are plenty of things you to learn. The learning curve is not a steep one but if you have no one to help you it does take some time.
Take your time and enjoy the game to the fullest.

Nikos
