Is it true that if a server holds 3500 that over half are either jedi or on thier way to becoming jedi ?

And we're not the only ones. Over on the GCW forum, they are waaaay ticked about the Jedi. Most of the other professions forums are showing resentment towards the Jedi also, because if it can mix with BH (like most of them can), then the Devs make sure that it can not hurt the Jediso much that they lose thier so called1.5 better uberness.
For the first time in a very long time, with the introduction of the CU, the combat professions are closer to balance than I think they ever were (with the exception of Commando maybe. They need some work). The GCW should be in full swing. But the Jedi presence is even screwing that up.

Yeah I noticed that...sigh its all about the Jedi and the rest is all Jedi content....thats what this game is becoming. So for those of us that do not want to become a friggin saber freak must submit to being their content.
I think a jedi-free server would in fact make $$$$$$$ for SOE and give those of us that have grown tired of getting saber blinded every time we enter any starport or major city, a server to have TIMELINE correct PvP and GCW!

On UO they had a shard called the Abyss shard(server). It started as a Halloween event shard that was really tough and wasnt a permenent shard. However, many people who played on it really liked it alot better than the normal live shards and it stayed around for much longer than anticipated. Eventually the new shard Seige Perilous was born and is the hardest shard on UO, and a very popular shard.
SOE could do a temporary trialserver that has no jedi on it. If it is popular then it stays as a permenent live server and ifthere isnt as much interest then it can go away after its trial.

My PA, would probably move instantly.
But we would ofcourse prefer a second server..a No Jedi RP server.

I am really trying to be fair. So do not take this as a flame. I read the first page and almost everyone that posted just started in 2005. No name calling here but the person that started this thread along with most of the people that support this idea are new to swg. If you dont like the game then stop playing. You guys always tell us if we dont like this nerf or that nerf to jedi stop playing... dont you think its time to start listening to your own advice?

A very fair observation. Here's another one. A lot of the veterans that gave a damn about the future of this game have left. Want to take a guess why?

Ratfoot you have been playing since May. How do you even have anything to compare what a server without jedi would be like? In 3 moths there is no wayyou even have a good understanding of swg. Im sorry but you need to experice other aspects of the game before you cry so much about jedi. I amdone and will not post anymore in this thread.

Oh your gonna base my knowledge on how long ive been a member are you? Ive been in plenty of pvp battles most start out with jedi ganking every other class before the other jedi. In a rare few battles when it was non jedi vs. non jedi a bunch of jedi show up unannounced and gank my team with their glowsticks. Just today i challegened a jedi to a no db duel for fun only! He ended up killing laughing and calling me a "n00b". The jedi in this gamedont even act like true jedi instead they act like l33t d00ds picking on any other proffesion besides their own. So dont even say i dont know anything about jedi. And i notice in your sig you are a jedi which of course makes you a jedi lover.

Im a 2 year vet, been playing since launch, i unlocked a long time ago but saw how unbalancing the jedi profession is in the game compared to other non-jedi players. I dropped my force skills and just kept my FS skills to keep my second character.I know alot of players love to play jedi, i dont want to see that taken away. So keep the current servers the way they are. No one is going to lose a jedi character.
Aserver with no jedi would be a breathe of fresh air. The GCW rocked for about the first 3 to 6 months after the game went live back in june 2003. I would and i think most of my guild would make new characters on a NO-JEDI server and play on bothour home server and the new server. Jedi pretty much these days all group together and slaughter any non jedi group that attacks a base or doing overt pvp. That what i see on my server and so less people go overt because they dont stand a chance against a jedi gank squad. ( and they complained about BH ganks)?
Alot of players that have jedi fear this because they dont want to see there server become very low on population and what if this takes off and SOE wants to make more NON-JEDI servers. Then the original Live servers would just have jedis. Jedi players dont want this by and large. They dont want to play on servers with just jedi. I dont think its a big problem, i beleive alot of players will still play different servers as they already do now. I got 2 characters on my main server and 2 other characters on 2 other servers.
I love to play SWG in the noob enviroment again. it would be fun.

To be fair (I played Siege since the day it opened) they've lost most of their player-base. Siege is a ghost-town these days.

What about me Artisian? I'm a two year vet and I think that a non-jedi server is a good thing, so don't be saying that only noobs want this.
