Whomever said that, should really post a source. Yeah, a major ground battle, such as the one led by Obi-Wan in RoTS might have 10,000 soldiers attached to it, but there were plenty of Jedi leading small scouting groups, hit and run piloting solies, etc. (this ain't Battle Star Galacticawhere the bad guys piss out 10,000 uber fighters every time they feel like it.)

So, yeah, when a Jedi takes a Star Destroyer (I have no idea what they were called in RoTS) such as Yoda or Obi-Wan, they took tons of troups because they were occupation missions. I ratherdoubt every Jedi had 10,000 troops, and there were plenty of Jedi left as diplomats, trainers, and non-compatants.

Hole cow a jedi that doesnt understand the FRS was working at the time this happend! Whooo hooo shut up jedi....

Chances are that youre right. I doubt seriously that the Devs will everdo anything to oppose thier golden children Jedi...
