This post is STILL applicable and worth a sticky due to more and more BHs doing NPC missions.

Be wary of the Research Outpost on Yavin IV, lost 2 marks stuck in the starport bldg there just yesterday.

Nice post. I got lucky and respec'd my investigations line after the cu
Only problem is that (if i understand what you said) rendering has nothing to do with the bug about them being stuck in walls. Rendering is client-side, the coordinates of where the mark is in the world is server-side. If those coordinates happen to be right on top of a house, then your pc will render them both in the same spot. Thats why sometimes you will get the "Cannot see target" error even if there is nothing rendered in front of the guy, but the server still knows there is indeed something there, even if your pc didnt render it yet.

Anyone else able to get 'twins'? Meaning that two marks of the exact same name and appearance spawn on top of each other. I've had this happen twice. The 1st time, I sat to regen action after killing the 1st and the 2nd one despawned before I could stand up. The second time this happened, I couldn't kill either since they both aggroed; and they're the CL82's that hit for 530 and regen like mad. ( I died really fast.) So I don't know what the second twin would drop or if it drops anything at all.
