Wait until they make droids worthy companions. I wish I had a droid as cool as R2-D2 He pwned in Ep 3

creatures now attack whoever does teh most damage (which is completely stupid - they should attack whoever attacks 1st- eg, the TANK) so if you do more damage than your tank droid (which is really rather likely) the mobs will go for you.

i suggest for this reason that if you want more firepower - just get an adv r3 combat droid with 6 combat modules and 2 armour modules and group with it. it will add 100-200 dps to your general output. if shooting the same target.

Unfortunately at the moment it makes no difference whether you have 1 combat module or 6 or 1 armor module or 2. To max a droid you just need 1 combat module and 1 level 4 armor module. Extra combat modules do NOT increase damage and extra armor modules are useless until they fix the armor bug where it resets it back to the equivalent of a level 30 creature handler pet on the 2nd use.

Droids are great for those players whose characters are less than level 30 (ungrouped) and pretty good for those up to level 40 or 50 (grouped) but beyond that all they are are assistants to fights so they can dish some damage while you will undoubtedly take the brunt of the attacks. Of course this is just my view on it ... I pretty much use the droids only with my crafters and my new combat character which is only level 19 at the moment.

MEH - really ?! thats crap tbh - still its good that you are garanteed 100-200 dps out of a droid!

Thanks for the input, I am really just looking for a few more dps to help on Boss marks. My template does not do uber damage and I need help. I assume if i hit a concussion shot then the target will fix on the droid the next time the droid attacks giving me a second or two to rest. THat is all I really need.

Ok Im a master DE, and have not figured out how to make a combat droid. What modules do I need to make them. I have looked through the list of modules and have not seen anything that has to do with combat. Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

Combat modules are used (as well as armor modules). For most droids you will need to put the combat modules in combat capable socket clusters.

I still can not find the combat module. I see the combat socket cluster. I am standing in front of a public crafting station and am a master DE. What is the exact name of the module?

Combat modules is all that is required for combat capability (though armor is helpful). Not all droids "shoot" though, some use melee attacks (LE repair droids are melee only and R-units tend to use melee most of the time)

I've been using a probot. i thought they would shoot. I had another droid where it would show damage 17 to 30. It doesn't show any stats like that.

Generally the stats it may show or not show should be ignored... just try using it in combat.

I'm making combat droids but I'm missing something when I make it. I put in the combat modules and all that but I'm missing whatever I have to put in them to make them shoot. I'm sorry if I'm missing something very obvious here but can someone please help me with this.

Thanks
