creatures now attack whoever does teh most damage (which is completely stupid - they should attack whoever attacks 1st- eg, the TANK) so if you do more damage than your tank droid (which is really rather likely) the mobs will go for you.
i suggest for this reason that if you want more firepower - just get an adv r3 combat droid with 6 combat modules and 2 armour modules and group with it. it will add 100-200 dps to your general output. if shooting the same target.
Unfortunately at the moment it makes no difference whether you have 1 combat module or 6 or 1 armor module or 2. To max a droid you just need 1 combat module and 1 level 4 armor module. Extra combat modules do NOT increase damage and extra armor modules are useless until they fix the armor bug where it resets it back to the equivalent of a level 30 creature handler pet on the 2nd use.
Droids are great for those players whose characters are less than level 30 (ungrouped) and pretty good for those up to level 40 or 50 (grouped) but beyond that all they are are assistants to fights so they can dish some damage while you will undoubtedly take the brunt of the attacks. Of course this is just my view on it ... I pretty much use the droids only with my crafters and my new combat character which is only level 19 at the moment.

MEH - really ?! thats crap tbh - still its good that you are garanteed 100-200 dps out of a droid!
I still can not find the combat module. I see the combat socket cluster. I am standing in front of a public crafting station and am a master DE. What is the exact name of the module?
