The higher the HAM the better obviously. The HAM caps out at 1700 for R-units, 1100 for probots, and 2200 for LE's. Armor you can't actually see on examine, but if the seller included it in the title 20% is the current maximum resists(you may see some claiming 40%, but thats a bug, no telling if it will stay or not). For combat ratings, 550 is the max for the probot, 600 for the R3, and 330 for the LE repair droid.

Yes - combat modules stack so more modules equals more powerful droid.

Healing modules can be added to droids and when activated will slowly regenerate itself and friendly droids close by. They too stack so more healing modules equals more healing per second. Healing modules do eat batteries though.....

so an r3 with combat modules and 1 healing module, in a grp of 20 droids, all targeting the same player...well, thats firepower and heal power i guess

Actually, if you're going to have 20 R3 droids as tanks, you would want them configured as 1 combat module and 5 auto-repair.

The reason for this is that the combat modules do add more firepower as you stack them in, but the return isnt all that much better than the 1st module. Maybe the damage on an R3 goes from 100-110 at 1.5 spd to 170-180 at 1.5 spd when you go from 1 to5 combat modules. Not really all that much difference, you're still going to be doing most of the damage.

Auto-repair stacks up without diminishing returns, 5 a-r modules rated at 20 each gives you 100 points of droid healing every 10 seconds to all droids in a 30m radius. When you stack 20 of these droids all together, their health will never drop much. Sure they don't do all that much damage but they can tank a ton. Even only 2 or 3 of these things working together can take a good bit of punishment.

Bring plenty of batteries if you plan to hunt this way.

Can someone provide information on prime stats for combat droids in CU. Unsure if droids where effected by conversion to CU. My probot to a point looks unchanged and died just as fast as before in combat. Droids deserve to be deadlier and a DE should be able to craft assassian droids and other creations with different weapons.

In Empire Strikes Back, on Hoth, the Rebels sent out Han Solo, Chewbacca, and a hand full of troops to get 1 probot. Something is not right. If probots are designed by the Empire for search missions and low level assaults, then lets get some others to use among the fold.

Droid Engineers should be able to craft Baktoid combat droids, Sith Sentry, Assassin droids, and loot schems from the Geo cave to create Droideka. All droids would be vesatile and require certain combat levels to use mixed with skill attachments and possible cybernetics.

This game can do so much...come on SOE!

Damn... I would be happy if they would make a probot go as fast a swoop... that's all.. nothing fancy.. just make the damn droid useful!

These are all good suggestions and perhaps with the crappy level system we have in place we might be lucky enuf to get some of that

Something else when grouped with droids we share exp?was just in kobola cave's with my droid and we were taking down cl 11 guards and getting 68 exp for them. And is there a bug before i'd target and send him to attack and he'd chase the target down, or use a ranged attack. This time the target was on a lower level the droid wouldn't go around and just stood there getting hit ranged attack was gone.Anybody else notice this ?
